I've felt EA has been trying to monopolize the gaming industry for a long time. They'll never buyout all the good companies out there but they've done a pretty good job of it so far. You know where my vote went.

Well said.

If EA vanished from existence, then industry can actually compete for quality games, like NFL for example.

I also like Westwood and pre-EA Bioware.

Other companies that come to mind who are all terrible

Activision
THQ
Capcom
Rockstar Games

Yea I think I will gladly stick with EA you can have your WWE vs w/e and your Resident Evil 65's and your Street Fighter vs who gives a ____ followed by GTA same game different graphics (Insert number and or random fantasy city)

Oh and I forgot CoD 15 with its same graphic engine and no dedicated servers lmfao

GO EA!

Because if EA didn't exist no game developers would exist ever. You've found the perfect, bulletproof argument.

And I can easily point out the graveyard of developers EA has left in its wake.

Not to mention my previous argument that a good product is second fiddle to terrible customer service and when you treat your employees badly.. well, you get what you put into it. Have a good day. ;)

I voted EA, as they've ruined so many good games and studios over the years and that had an impat not only in the US, but in the entire world.

Damn I miss Westwood, Maxis and the original Bioware... =/

Regardless of how long and "horrible" EA's list of crime is..

Bank of America and ATT+T and co. are companies that have kinda made the world worse with legislation and economy. EA simply has monopolised a relatively small industry and milked as much money as it can make of it. It never made anyone homeless. I can't believe people would be silly enough to vote for them.

Relatively small industry?

Have you actually seen the numbers for what this "Relatively small industry" generates in dollars?

Yes, less than the telecom, banking and supermarket industries.  Which is why it is "relatively" small rather than small.

EA publishes far better games than the likes of Capcom (Which is by far a worse company than EA) Looking at my game collection its hard for me to even find a good game that doesn't have EA on it I think Arkham City/Asylum and Borderlands are the only ones. But Borderlands crew released a game far more shameful than ME3...Duke Nukem Forever...which makes Mass Effect 3 look like gold compared to aluminum.

I'm inclined to believe that EA has mostly left Bioware untouched except in areas like marketing and deadlines.

It's the deadlines though. This kills the game.
There is no way ME3 was not rushed.

So your argument is based on your taste in games rather than the business practices of said company, which is the whole point of the voting/competition?

How many people on here are voting them the worst either because

A) The mass is doing it and they want to feel cool too.
B) They are doing it solely based off of Mass Effect 3.
C) All of the above

Now remove those people from this voting and look at the realistic figures.

Thank you for considering this very real look into why poll systems are garbage.

Glad to see EA is feeling the love:

"EA is among the industry leaders in pushing for more and more "microtransactions" in users' gaming experience. For its major titles it seems to be creating exclusive and add-on content, not with the game in mind, but with the sole intention of milking consumers who may not realize how quickly those small purchases add up. It seems you're taking the whole competition a lot more seriously than the people voting in it.

Take out the number of people who are voting that are from this forum and are voting solely for the reasons you listed and you will have a small amount of people removed from the final votes.

Thank you for considering this very real look into why the ending of ME3 does not account for EA making it this far, especially against multiple big name companies. And if it did, then you would all have to admit that the number of people upset with the endings is larger than you'd want to admit.

This is a nice tango we're having here.

No because EA was a bad company before the ME3 flap, even before Origin. It is deserved. There is a reason why EA has a bad reputation, and why people actually refuse to buy EA games. It is because EA is a bad company who treats there customers like crap, and outside of a few exceptions makes bad games.
