First real post here, and Ive been following the controversy over the endings. ME1 really introduced me to Bioware and Ive pretty much been a day one buy for me since. I forgave the DA2 fiasco because while it was short and felt recycled, it was amusing.

As for ME3 ,I enjoyed the game for the most part. Picked it up on release day and powered through it in a few days time. But like alot of you, the last 15 minutes of it really shattered the series for me. It was a fun ride, but I cant help but feel there is no point to playing anymore. I replayed ME1 and ME2 multiple times but this one, I just cant. Ive started a few second attempts and get to roughly the point where you leave Earth and just...give up. It just feels pointless.

Part of what used to enthrall me was the ability to replay the game in a different manner and see that atleast reflected in the final act. Now it doesnt really matter. Just "pick your flavor" /end.

So have many you been able to muster the stubborness for secondary playthroughs?

I have played twice and started a third playthrough, however it has weared off. My choices do nothing at all except Wrex's situation.

Just finished a second playthrough which was a chore to go through knowing the ending but did allow me to pick up some stuff I missed first time around. As an afterthought I checked my ME2 playthroughs - by this time I had done 5 playthroughs and was working on my 6th. Certainly confirms how the ending has really spoiled the series for me.

^You can check Fallout New Vegas, The Witcher... there are a lot of decent games out there.

Anyway, I've played the game twice. I'm on a third playthrough, but I'm not really fond of it, because it's too easy even on insanity. But I've been testing Kronner's mod, seems promising so far.

Played it three times. I won't let the last 5 minutes keep me from a otherwise great game.

Finishing up a FemShep run through, then probably gonna do a NG+ with Sheploo afterwards...

In all honesty, it's the multiplayer that keeps me from completing my run throughs. Endings are what they are, but I am having more fun with the MP than I thought I would.

Did a male Shep who stayed with Jack.

Ran my FemShep who romanced Liara in all three

Now running my MaleShep again and choosing Ashley.

You're not alone. I haven't really touched the game since finishing it the first time, and I don't much have the urge to play any of the trilogy again right now.

the BEST thing I ever did (in hindsight) was to import a playthrough wherein many of my favorites died in ME2 (it was my only maleshep with Ashley LI). Now, on my second playthrough, I get to have a reunion with several folks I didn't on my first playthrough. But, after this playthrough . . .. I don't know. It'll be a long wait until Bioshock Infinite comes out.

I'm on my fourth playthrough (got 34 to go! woo!) heh heh.
Despite the ending I still love the hell out of this game and cant NOT play it at least 3 hours every day it seems.

Still haven't been able to get any of my playthroughs under 30hrs because of my inherent completionist streak.

I started a second playthrough but not feeling it.

I'm not one of these people that cares about the ending. It's more that theres just not the replay value. You choose up option or down option for every choice which are few and far between, and there is little value to choosing the down option.

The autodialogue, plus the way some things just seemed to have been phoned in (i.e tali's pic, shower scenes in underwear, some of the me2 squadmate missions) are worse faults than the ending imho.

No, i've not considered it and honestly i don't have enough beer left since my last playthrough. At its current state the endings kill the trilogy for me and the game itself got very little replay value.

Of course I played through again. It's hardly a bother. It's quite fun! The enemies are more challenging on insanity

Been trying to force myself to play it a second time but I just ... can't be arsed.

The replayability sucks compared to ME1/ME2 and DA:O.

Working on my soldiers. Have two done. Shep/Ash and Shep/Liara now working on Shep/Jack. A good game is a good game even with questionable ending. Just feels like there should be more or will be more coming regarding the end.

Nope.

Finished it once, and that ended all desire to replay. I did retry a play through last week. Forced myself as far as mars and shut it off. Played The Last Remnant instead. Better than ME3.

I'm on my second imported Shep ATM. Can't see a point in reimporting for a New Game Plus. Same as in the previous two, there are no palpable rewards for doing it. Sure, you can now get more assets and upgrade your weapons to LvX... but once you complete Insanity with those LvV's, do you really NEED the Xs?

No. Did/found/achieved everything on my first perfect run. Me3 is really short and linear compared to other two... Maybe will try again in few years.
