Has anyone bothered to play through again?

But when it comes to the ending... there is only 3... 1 if you are colour blind.

taking a break from the single player for now, but will try starting out in 3 soon, instead of importing.

I actually really want to, but whenever I feel the urge to play, I remember the ending and realize how pointless it would be to do so.

Needless to say, critical mission failure.

Should the face import be fixed anytime soon I might consider a second playhtrough on 'narrative' difficulty with my Vanguard to check out the differences, but even then it's not very likely. Should they actually manage to salvage the endings we'll talk again.

I'm sad to admit that I found ME3 far more linear than either of the first two games...and making that comparison to ME2...I never thought I'd see the day, but there you have it. :I
Its more linear because a lot of the decisions are made in in ME1 or ME2. You can't change the outcome of some things just within ME3. If Tali was exiled and you rewrote the Geth Heretics in ME2, you have eliminated several dialogue options the Rannoch quests. Same with a lot of other issues.
ME2 you could do the quests in more or less any order, because most of the game was just doing loyalty missions.
I don't really get the claim some folks have made about choices affecting the ending.. Nothing really changed the endings of ME1 that I recall. For ME2, the only thing that mattered was whether you did all the loyalty quests or not. I'm leery of calling "skipping quests" a form of player choice.

Yes, this bites. Two games of getting to love your Shep and then you've suddenly got some stranger speaking for her. It loses something. I think I'm going to re-import the same Sheps after the fix that's coming so I can actually feel the complete experience of Shepard's journey.

Without any multiplayer and other stuff, it's pretty hard, if not impossible, to get over 3,500 EMS without some "careful diplomacy" some where. And it still falls up short.Juha81FIN wrote...
I have played ME 3 through three times so far, with fresh new character and another imported that carried to NG+ just to see how much difference it does. Right now I can't bear myself to play more until at least face import issue is fixed and every single time I keep thinking about war assets is like hitting my head against stonewall, as I can't have 4000 EMS score in solo campaign no matter how I play.
Most I've gotten so far on my last playthrough was about 7,400 war assets.

Before Diablo3 comes out next month, I'm thinking of replaying Red Dead Redemption or even finishing LA.Noire.
