Depends what you mean.

I don't feel as destroyed by it, sure, but then again I have no pull to play the SP campaign again either. It's no longer an emotional "GRRR!" but rather a "Meh, not interested."

You can't get over that ending because every time you play again you will experience it again.

I'm having trouble going through the game a second time. I can't bring myself to return to Earth.

Was I ever angry? Not really, but hurt and confused? Yes.

I'm no longer in the slump I was in, but I'm not about to let it go either. I would have rather had Shepard take a random hit from a bullet than have an ending that is that outrageous and distant from the rest of the game(s).

If I was over this, I wouldn't be coming to these forums.  Checking to see if there's any kind of news from here is not really a good way to pass the time.  Of course the MP is keeping me busy on the weekends, but its just not the same.  Posted Image

Part of me wants to believe that this whole mess will be reslove and all this will become a bad memory.  The other half is preparing for the worse.   If and when the worse does happen, I will uninstall both ME3 AND Origin from my computer, close down this account, and never look at video games the same way as before.  That will be the day I give up on video games in general!

All that's left now is a bit of hope: hope which could become the last defense on the road to disappoint.

I just played through ME2 again, and the end, the fact i could jump up and down and scream 'yeeeaaah' at kicking the Collecters back, just means that ME3 will never be replayed again. That is where Shep ends for me..I want an ending i can be joyful at, not one that serves me more questions than answers.

This is a great idea.  Why don't we just say that, after we killed the Collectors, the Reapers ran away out of fear.  The End.

I needed a bottle of rum and a hug. It's not on the list of priorities in my life, but it does still suck.
So, no, I'm not over it. Only because this was "my" game, knowing that when I have a bad and stressful day and can't hang out with my friends, I just turned on one of the games and just start playing 'my' Shepard, even if it's from the very beginning of Mass Effect 1. Now, I just feel sad when I look at my 360 and any of the ME games. The ending of ME3 took all of that away. Lost to bad and rushed writing.

Why should I accept what is unacceptable?

The pain has gone, the reality hasn't.

Ok, well let me spell it out then...admitting you're over it and don't care anymore, especially before BioWare makes any announcement on what's next, removes fuel from the fire for those that would like to see things end on a better note.

You've got real issues if you think attacking people on the merit of not being able to "use them as your tool" to get what you want is effective.  The entire point of the protest is people banding together under the premise of having negative reactions to the ending.  If someone decides that they don't care enough or that they like the ending, then so be it.  That's not to say that I don't want a better ending, in fact, I'm all for it.  But I'm completely against bashing someone else on their opinion or the fact that (God forbid!) they get over it.

This. Same goes for the other guy sticking up photos and repeating Hold The Line. You don't have to try drown out someone's voice just because they disagree with you.

----

Also, I'm getting the sense that I may have offended some folks with the phrase "Over it." If that's the case, I apologize.

I am still upset and have not played ME3 since my first walk trough.

But i was not thinking about it for the last two weeks and then a friend came and asked me if he should buy it.

After i finished eruption he decided to stay with COD.

Not over it at all. Just waiting atm as there is nothing else to be said right now. PAX is around the corner and they will have to acknowledge it then. If not well, then I'll be saying something to Bioware. I'm still upset but this is something that can be fixed, so I'm still hopeful.

Well, considering that I work at a hospital, that I see children with cancer, old people on their last days, people mourning the death of their relatives and friends, and much more on a daily basis, and that Mass Effect was a good escape from reality for me, when I found out about the ending a week before the release, at first I just got numb... I couldn't accept. When I got to the ending myself, I had a little more than 6k EMS due to a few mp matches, chose the red/destroy and did nothing more... I even started a new game, but didn't went past Mars yet... I feel no urge to play it again. I'm reaching acceptance slowly... But my job always makes me come back here for any little grasp of hope...

I'm not exactly "over it" ... more like desensitized from the waitng.

Love this series with a passion - just curious how it will turn out with BioWares DLC of any kind.

Not quite. I am not upset anymore, but I I still hope for something. I can replay the game now- I just feel free to dick around because the same thing happens in the end.

I still enjoy Mass Effect as a series, and I still Hold the Line. I just am more in the waiting phase than the nerdraging constantly phase now. I do like to come here, though :/

I haven't touched SP after first playthrough. Don't want to do till Bioware's announcement. If they announce some addition to the ending or modification to it, then I will happily begin my other playthroughs. Otherwise, it is bye bye Mass Effect.

Over it, no I will hound until the a new ending comes out or the apocolypose happens, however my productivity is up at work since I can't even play 1 or 2 without feeling that sick feeling ME3 caused at the end. My closet is cleaner than ever, I made 3 homonym centers and 4 worksheets and laminated and cut out 18 sets of 55 High frequency words on my own time because I can't bring myself to play the ME series and they are how I used to spend my downtime.

I think I am going to learn how to use a sewing machine. I want to make seat sacks for my students chairs the kinds with bright colors and cute animated frogs.

My Shepard never got it on with Liara... does this mean she RAPED me before I went off to save the galaxy?

I guess in an Asari's world, her resting her head sweetly on your shoulders means ' I AM RAPING YOU FOR BABIES '.

I'd also argue that even though I've calmed all it'll take is something at PAX like "Nah, f u, it's art, we're cool" for the ire to come back in full force.
