I have not played it since I saw the ending.

I will not play untill there is a new ending"s"!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is no reason that Bioware would get this lazy with story telling to end an epic series in a NON-EPIC way. Not only was it non-epic but it is also crap that they made up in 5 min and shoved it in our face with no thought what so ever that they mite have made the WORST ending in gaming history!

If by "over it" you mean, playing other stuff then yes, i just finished Tales of Graces F and am about to start SH: Downpour... see how bad that really is.

If you mean forget it or just not care about it, then no, i cant forget it, i wish i could, i honestly wish i could bleach my brain and forget what BW did to their own creation, but i cant.
ME3 got its spot as something unforgettable alright (while killing the series at the same time XD), kinda like a disaster.

And not caring about it, wish i could stop caring about it, but someone would have to find a way to give me all the time i wasted and all the money i put into this series to even consider not caring.

The most positive thing this has done is that, whenever confronted with some crap as far as stories goes, i can always remember someone made worse.... and actually thought it was good.

I can't say that no matter how many times I see the horrid ending that I am over it, its still bad, it still needs to be fixed.

I always see people talking about ME like this is it. It's over with and done and that universe will not go on. There will be future ME based games. Of that I have zero doubts and neither should anyone here.

I'm still angry that I bought the N7 collector's edition at full price despite my better judgement. And I still think that delivering the meaningful endings they promised is the least BW can do.

Like Dragon Age, the lore in Mass Effect is too rich not to continue to plumb its depths.  And unfortunately, like Dragon Age, a shadow of a doubt is now cast on Mass Effect whether a shape-able narrative can be sustained and brought to a cohesive conclusion.

I honestly for a long time wasn't a diehard Bioware fan. I bought the old kotors, jade empire, and that was mostly it. The first Dragon age and the Mass Effect series were starting to turn me into a "take my money Bioware, I want companies like you to get good profits/funding. You are what's right in the business". I bought a "new" copy of mass effect 2 even though I'd finished a borrowed copy because I wanted to get money to the maker. I couldn't find a new copy of mass effect 1 so I made sure to buy dlc, to get them money.

Then Dragon Age 2 was ok, but I'm glad I just played my room mates copy, no burning desire to pick up my own copy and snag some sweet dlc. And now I'm waiting to see if my favorite series in a long, long, long, loooooooong time is now dead to me.

Not a good long term business strategy if your hardcore fans and the new fans becoming hardcore now feel this way.

I'm getting there. Every time I replay it, though, it will reopen old wounds. Ah, the gift that just keeps on giving. Thanks, BioWare.

I think it can if Bioware wants to dedicate the necessary resources to the job. Whether or not they will is up in the air though.

I had nothing to get over.

I struggle to get over the deaths of loved ones, regrets from my past and other things which actually matter. The ending of a computer game is never something I'm going to lose sleep over, I've never lost sight of that and never will. The way some people have reacted to the endings, you'd think BioWare had just kicked their door in and brutally murdered their family.

I take my gaming seriously, but yeah, I keeps it real.

I'm starting to find myself in the same boat as the OP. I'm holding the line still, hoping for a new ending or at least some clarity and closure. But what's done is done, and I have other things to worry about.

I'm over it.....and everything about Mass Effect series is slowly dying for me. The DLC is taking too long and right now, my feeling is that the end just blow the entire series for me. What a shame, I was under the impression that it was impossible.....so much hype for that.... :/

A lot of people have ****ty lives, or are lucky and just have boring lives.  Mine is much better lately, but its boring.  I escape in books and video games.  When one ends not just poorly, but stupidly, I lose immersion and have to go back to my currently extremely boring life.

Short version, not all of us are off speed boating with models on the weekends.  When our "escape" sucks, its a bigger deal.

Thankfully, I’m still angry about it. The moment I “get over it” and accept the ending as it is will be the same moment I accept that Bioware is incapable of producing the games I look to them for.

I'm not "over it." If they don't change the ending, I don't think I'll ever be over it. Its too painful of an ending on many levels (not consistent with lore, plot holes, no happy options, etc) for me to EVER be okay with it.

What has happened right now for me is having to get away from the games completely. I don't even want to play a series that used to be my favorite games ever. Because what's the point when "saving the galaxy" means destroying it anyways? Why not just let the Reapers do their thing? Its depressing all around.

I'm afraid that eventually this numbness will turn to hate/despising the franchise that I used to love dearly.

Let me put it this way. This ending is like a breakup. Full of promise, everything was great, it could have been "the one", then suddenly it's over. If I don't care about it anymore, it's because I've thrown everything in trash bags, and have moved on to a new relationship. I hear Diablo III is looking.

I'm still a bit gutted I spend £64.99 on a game that had some very good moments and gameplay but also some serious flaws (namely the conclusion, which I think basically urinates on the rest of the story and the choices you made through the game) and ended up leaving me feeling frustrated rather than entertained.

I have however gone from "this is an outrage" to "I don't really care anymore".

My experience on finnishing Dragon Age 2 was similar, I was raging after finnishing that. A few months later I was bored of an evening and played it again, playing it with lowered expectations I ended up enjoying it a little bit more. I guess the same thing will probably happen with Me3.

In the end, a game that I was really looking forward to was a let down. Its hard to stay upset about it for that long, its just a bloody computer game after all.

Took the words right out of my mouth - no point in giving them power over you by being brokenhearted about it.

That being said, I'm a big softie and am always willing to give just one more chance. If that chance is blown, though.. walking away and finding another story to love.

I've beaten the game about four times now (all imports), and I think by the fourth viewing of the "ending" I've come to some conclusions.

FOR ME, it isn't worth being upset over anymore. The ending is still terrible and Bioware's writers should probably be ashamed for what they churned out and stuck on to an otherwise great game, but I'm out of the-hold-the-line-give-me-a-new-ending phase. I still want one, but I don't particuarly care one way or another if I get it anymore. That makes me a feel a little guilty, actually.

All I'm really left with at this point is curiosisty to see what they're going to do.

What about you folks? Still as angry/upset/confused/whatever?

you played the game 4 times?
...after the ending I couldnt play it through properly again....wheres mass effect 1 and 2 I could replay again easily.

I had to put my negative feelings in the mind-vice and crush it. I'd say I've moved on, but I still support the Retake movement and am hoping for a better ending, but I doubt it will happen.

I’ve not played since the first time I ran into the ending.

But I’m no longer angry, not really. I think I’ve gone through most stages of grief and reached a kind of acceptance.

That doesn’t mean I’m forgiving for the crappy deal I got with this game, though, or that I’m somehow okay with Bioware’s behaviour in all of this. The trust I’ve lost in them is still lost. I’m still just as disgusted as ever and I don’t see myself buying any future games given the disappointment I’ve had in the last few.

But, yeah, first week – wow, I was so pissed off. Second week, still foaming at the mouth.

Now it’s all very… blah. Very little interest in even an ending DLC at this point.

I think the better question is "are you over the ranting of the ME3 endings?" I don't think anyone who really loved the series will ever be over the endings unless it is changed/fixed. Some liked the endings too, so I obviously don't speak for them.

Some people really were affected by this that are really upset, some will be more weary of trusting the ME franchise or possibly Bioware/EA altogether. Others might not care now that some time has passed and they've cooled off.

No matter what, the ME3 conclusion has opened a lot of eyes and minds. It will affect the future of Mass Effect and possibly Bioware. How much I can't say. Hopefully there will be some changes to ME3 and hopefully this is something the ME team will take into consideration in the future.

Any professional or business knows, it's all about the fans/customers.

Ive played through 3 times, i found a great way to increase replay value!

The moment you get hit by the beam, turn auto-dialouge on, mute the sound, and do **** with your laptop in your knee while partly guiding your Shep through the citadel, conversations can be skipped by staring at your computer. And then pick ending A,B or C. when the final cutscene shows up, turn off the screen. Come back in 5 minutes after you imagined your own ending. = Profit.

Yip, I'm well and truly at the "I don't care" phase.

I'll pop on these forums to see if there have been any anouncements from bioware regarding the end. I'm not holding my breath though.

From here on i'll probably play a bit of me3 multiplayer, and a bit of DA:O perhaps Jade Empire as I've got it but never got round to playing it, but I think my days of being a bit of a bioware fanboy are over. Usually if I buy one bad game from a developer I won't buy another without some pretty strong recomendations, but bioware had "credit in the bank" having made so many games I love.

Sadly after buying 2 dodgy games in a row from them i'm smarting.

The bioware logo on a game used to a way for me of knowing in advance I would love a game, a sign of quality and good story telling, now it's become a bit of a warning.
