Liara is both better looking & a better character. But even so, I was curious what the repurcussions were of sleeping with Allers if romancing someone else. Other than Shepard vomiting afterwards while moaning, "....what have I done."

Jessica Chobot is a good looking woman. Sadly the character modelled on her, is not.

Should have the option of leading her on and then before the act sit down and say: "Narh... that ain't me...."

Did you invite her up to your cabin for an interview?

She'll flirt with Shepard after that first interview in the Captain's quarters. She'll say something like, "If you keep feeding me like this, I might follow you home." Shepard can choose to either shoot her down by saying "lets keep it professional" or he can express interest. If he expresses interest she'll say she's just interested in an interview 'for now,' though the 'for now' part she says suggestively.

I never explored the romance dialogue with her beyond that point, but I'm guessing if you flirted with her the first time, that locks in the 'romance' with her, and after the second interview in Shepard's cabin, you'll get more flirty dialogue that leads to the characters sleeping together.

Though someone else posted in this thread that Shep can't sleep with Allers if he's already got a LI locked in. If that is true then I guess the second interview gets the same dialogue as when you rejected Allers, if you've already got Liara, Tali, or Ashley locked in.

You can sleep with Allers after Rannoch by picking "stay for the night" after the interview. IF you don't have this option it means you have locked your LI so no Allers for you.
Can't say for all LI, but Liara's locking moment is when you speak with her about her childhood etc at the Citadel.
As for the consequences.. Liara will find out after Thessia and will be angry but still she will come to you before Cronos station ... so no harm done.
Yep, I cheated on Liara with Miranda in ME 2 and Allers in ME 3. I am a monster

The only complication free romance is with Yeoman Chambers. If you hook up with her in ME2, you don't get flagged as having a romance. Allers is a romance with flag, so if you hook up with her then you have created a triangle. If you are already locked in with someone else, Allers backs off if you make suggestions.

She makes an ambiguous come on after the interviews. If you aren't in a relationship, you can follow up on it. But she knows all the gossip on the ship, so she's not interested if you are locked in already.

To be fair you really only cheated on Liara with Allers. Or you cheated on Miranda with Liara, depending on when you completed LotSB.

Unless Shepard romances someone new in ME2 or reconnects with Liara in LotSB, he or she is single in that game. Both Ashley and Liara make it clear that they aren't interested in picking up where they left off when you run into them initially in Mass Effect 2. Ashley rejects you because you are with Cerberus and Liara rejects you because she is afraid of getting hurt again. (since Shepard dying on the suicide mission seems likely)

You have to be in a relationship to cheat, and Shep was clearly single in ME2.

without giving away much in spoilers, Shepard is confronted by the former LI and a choice regarding Allers has to be made. Your decision will affect your EMS score and total war assets.

My roommate went this route, he's an ass.

She always reminds me of the skanky girl who only gets anywhere because she puts out for everything 9I'm pretty sure thats how Chobot landed the job in the first place). I'm sure if Shepard had turned down her request to join the Normandy she'd have offered to sleep with him.
