I got both the respec mod and the Shale DLC, and both appear to be in the My Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/AddIns folder, but I don't have any evidence of them working in-game (Crows in my camp/major cities, the new location on my world map for Shale).  Any idea what's going on?

EDIT:  Alright this PoS forum finally let me edit my topic instead of telling me I have an invalid URL, so I just want to say that I bought a legit copy of the game over Steam.

EDIT2:  Yes, I registered the regular CD-Key on the website and already redeemed my second code for the DLC.

I think actual addins like those need to have some entries in an .xml file. user\\docs\\bioware\\dragon age\\settings\\addins.xml. Manually copying in the files may be insufficient.



Since you say you have the Shale DLC, check in "Downloadable Content" in the game's main menu and see if it appears in the installed tab.

The Shale DLC is indeed in the Downloadable Content/Installed Content in the game's menu. Also, the Addins.xml file apparently contains data for both that and the respec mod. Still have no idea what's going on...the game just doesn't seem to be loading them.

EDIT:  The Blood Dragon armor seems to appear in my inventory, and seems to be the only mod that works.

Everything is enabled. It should be working. Maybe it'll work if I start a new game, but that's retarded if it won't work in my current game. Something else is wrong.
