Just popping in to say I support this 100% and would pay for it, something that actually would deserve my money :D

I support this. The options that a straight femshep is given atm is beyond depressing.

Updated OP with some new stuff.
Consider it as WIP since new ideas get added over time.

Thanks to Tropulous for all that input!

Eh, how about having a Garrus s/s option in the ME3 DLC? There are gay gamers who have wanted him since the first game.

Perhaps for Tali as well.

Or you can start a new relationship with Garrus and Tali in ME3, it's unfair to newcomers to the franchise that you can start new romances with Liara, Kaidan and Ashley but not Garrus and Tali.

Also how about a bisexual alien woman LI? And by alien I mean non-Asari/Quarian, an actual alien-looking non-mammalian alien. I'd love a turian, krogan or drell woman.

I support this so much!
The game was really lacking in the love department, and the special side missions for squadmates!

 *pokes head in*

So I noticed this thread and saw there wasn't anything written for Samara (yet). Just for suggestions, I wrote some things down that I hope the rest of the fanbase would find agreeable:

- Clearing up some issues.
Contacted by Samara, Shepard goes to talk on the Citadel (before Cerberus coup). Paragon Interrupt at the end of the conversation (only if you tried to romance her) has Shepard state their feelings again. Mutual attraction is still there, but Samara continues to be reluctant; regardless she is willing to fight alongside Shepard.

- Adding at least one mission dedicated to the LI.
The Monastery mission, Samara contacts Shepard again and she is a temporary squadmate for the duration of the mission; you meet up with her there.

- Being able to recruit the LI for the Normandy.
At the end of the monastery mission Shepard could state that the mission was always to defeat the Reapers; Samara's oath has not been fulfilled. (Maybe make this a Paragon persuade option with good Rep needed?)

- The LI will give you emotional support after the loss of certain squadmates, Thessia and if you sacrifice the Quarians or Geth.
I can see a lot of meditation and more spiritual support that keeps Shepard calm and level headed. But can just as easily see her offering a simple hug (once) where Shepard's head is on her shoulder. (Perhaps that is specifically after Thessia?)

Some of the things I could think of so far.

Love the idea, but doubt it will happen. Too big, too many variables. Would love to see it happen thougt. I think everyone wants more character interaction in ME3 (Romance especially)

If this were to happen (and I doubt it will, unfortunately), any and all resources should be spent helping the existing LIs that got short-shrifted.  Mainly the ME2 ones.  Garrus and Tali have full storylines added for them, and a new character would dilute things even more.  People who romanced Jack, Miranda, etc... deserve better, more fully written stories.

Currently reworking initial idea based on feedback I got from various sources.

A friend of mine suggested a dedicated romance DLC won't get as much attention by the generic fan of ME3, but maybe a "Character Interaction DLC" that also comes with more romantic content.

I'd like to put that in the OP. Hope it works. ^^
Keep in mind: the more supporters we'll get, the higher the chance is BW might give it a try.

Thanks CptData for your well written essay. I defenitely support this and I would buy a Romance DLC.

@ Kaidan I also love the idea more to rescue his students than Rhana. Also good would be to find his father, because he is M.I.A.

i think these ideas are absolutely awesome, i would totally pay for this kind of dlc, also the loyalty mission idea i wish we got those, i missed having them in game like we did in me2, not been able to invite our li to our cabin also was dissapointing, and i'd totally love vega as a li, resisting kaidan will be hard but if vega was an option i'd have fun trying :)

I'd pay for it!

I really missed the loyalty/personal missions in ME3, I had expected them to be in the game for sure since it was all about the final push and coming to peace with yourself should the worse happen. They would have been especially poignant in this game since it was likely that no-one was getting out alive, or at least not without heavy casualties.

Been thinking... The proposed Steve mission seems like it wouldn't work. Isn't the Hammerhead supposed to be being dissected by a tech team on Earth? I mean, sure, the line could be changed around, but how about tying it to something else, like the group of fighter pilots that he mentions having run into and you get a war asset out of. Maybe something like they're trapped behind enemy lines and you have to rescue them within a certain amount of time (like the Grissom Academy mission), meeting some of his old friends and learning more about him beyond his dead husband.

I am back to show support for some great Ideas keep up the great work.

I also think that Bioware needs to add these Love Intrests via DLC Male Shepard would get Kasumi Goto and EDI while Female Shepard would get James Vega and Joker I am still hoping for these additions my fingers are crossed

I hope that after the Extended Cut DLC is Released that Bioware looks into fixing the Romances as well because lets be honest they are another major problem with Mass Effect 3 in my opinion the Ending and the Romances are ths games major Flaws so I am hoping they look into possable fixes with DLC.
