Not that I'm above feeling entitled or being whiney during certain points in my life--like any flawed human being, I reckon--but I've never complained about day one DLC, Allers and Vega reveals, Cortez's sex scene, the space launch marketing, blonde or redhead Femshep, and I was disgusted by the Hepler treatment, etc., etc., and yet I hate the damn ending from Spacekid on. I don't expect it to be trashed and re-engineered, but I want it to be. Surely I'm not alone. Maybe you shouldn't lump us all in one group, Jessica?

1 with and see how much she influences the game
1 without and see how much she influences the game
Still haven`t figured out what the point was of her 4 questions, 2 specific and 2 general
Even when she said she narrowed it down to the top 10, i was thinking "oh boy, renegade bonus time" and all you get was 1 question and 1 bs
So to be honest, who cares?

Her sole reason for being known is she's "A hot gamer girl", her defining moment was licking a goddamn Sony PSP in a sexual manner, She is little more than RL equivalent of Boob jiggle in Dead or Alive (See : How to manipulate shallow men), She was given a place in ME3 without earning a moment of it (not from a talent nor "Cameo" perspective), She complained about "Whining" gamers without ever actually having seen the thing we're "Whining" about (nor understanding any of the details) AND NOW she's "Apologizing" for saying it even though absolutely nothing indicates she's changed her mind, making the "apology" nothing more than a hollow, meaningless PR move.
How many Angels can dance on the head of a Pinhead, BSN members? I'd like to discuss something of worth.

She is there because she has pull with Bioware through IGN. She is the reason we dont have Emily Wong instead!

Why is she important.
I had no problem with her voice acting, I just found the character unbelievably boring and boring written at that.
I kept thinking, something is going to happen, but no...
That character was an utter waste of time, but I don't see how she is to blame for it.
I blame BW and I blame her employes.
And I don't see, how anyone could see a connection between her and the lovely Felicia Day.
Felicia can act and I loved her char in Mark of the Assassin.

If you have not finished the game, if you have not seen how all the loose ends are "tied up" (not tied up in the case of Mass Effect 3) why are you offering your critique as if it where the revealed word of god?
Sorry guys but as a scholar, I would NOT accept any review comitee that did not take the time to read my work and state their oppinion. If you don´t have a good knowledge of the subject to be discussed, how do you expect the criticism to be serious?

Christ almighty...you guys need to let up on this poor woman. She is insignificant to the plot and completely optional. And, she is entitled to call people whiners as much as you are entitled to call her a horrible voice actress.
It´s a matter of audience. If I say whatever on these boards my voice means nothing. Chobot, on the other hand, is a well-known name in the media and videogame industry.
To be honest, the part I hate most is this very particular sense of what art is. People, grow up; you´re not the special snowflakes romanticism told you. Art is bussines, it has always been. You´re not sublime geniuses, not even Brecht or Joyce were. You´re storytelles and if you don´t realize that storytelling works because it connects with the audience, get back to read some archaic stuff like the The Persians and learn why it worked so well back in Greece.

It was completely neutral in tone and sounded like she was reading a script but AGAIN, this _IS_ considered what made Walter Cronkite (considered by far the greatest news reporter of all time) the most trusted man in America.
Go hunt down video of Cronkite reporting on the Kennedy assassination or the Apollo program, just to name two things straight off the top of my head. Neutral and carefully-elocuted is not equivalent to unemotional.
*did you NOT read the rest of my post?*
I explicitly mention part of the reason why Kennedy's reporting was so powerful. It WAS the fact that usually, Cronkite was a flat, toneless and had no emotion whatsoever in his reporting...
Seriously, go to youtube and watch/listen to his reporting the news segment. Are you honestly saying that this isn't just plain flat when Cronkite speaks?
Look, I'm not saying that her VO work is beautfil but it is completely neutral (and at least better than the hammy speech Martina Sirtis gave as Matriarch Benzenia)

Personal attachment aside this response shows a very clear issue with the media coverage of Mass Effect 3 in particular and games in general: seems like reviewers do not actually know what they´re reviewing or at least, not with with the necesarry depth.

If she is entitled to her option then Iam entitled to mine!
The fact that she is completely useless is the problem. Ive wanted to see Emily in ME2 (never got to do that ). I thought I would for sure see her in ME3 ( exclusive interview) but instead we get this Chobot girl and Iam thinking..."WHY THE HELL DID I NOT GET EMILY IF DIANA IS USELESS ANYWAY?

So...she is deliberately a public figure. If she insults a group of people, those people get to respond. If she doesn't want to be in the public spot light then she definitely chose the wrong career.
