I didn't really hate Allers. If anything I took her onboard the Normandy and just ignored her for the rest of the game, other than the interviews. The only thing that I'm remotely mad over is the fact that since Bioware took the time to do all of this for a cameo, imagine the time they could have taken to actually add on stuff that we wanted.(For me, more detailed LI interaction)
They put more effort into chobot, a character you barely interact with in ME3, than Tali, and by extension the quarian people.
Chobot gets a full character model in all its uncanney glory, Tali and the Quarians? A bad photoshop that removes some fingers and changes the skin tone.
I don't hate Chobot but I definitely did not approve of her presence in the game after that fact.

Deeply impressed, it takes guts to admit you were wrong. (Colin could learn a thing or two from her.)
Also like to add that the hate she is receiving is starting to make me sick. It doesn't help our image to have people making personal insults against her.
Edit: for spelling
What would really be despicable is defending her if she doesn't deserve it

It is a bit lame that women seem to get jobs in apparently unrelated industries based upon sexual tactics or actions tantamount to softcore porn (with a PSP).
Yes, I wish more men were put into that kind of spotlight.
But I think the hatred towards her is kind of pointless. Yes, criticism towards her acting and being a sex object is valid, but people should blame the developers who put her in, not she herself.
Wouldn't some fans jump at the offer to voice act in the game they like? Even though this probably didn't have all too much to do with her being a fan.
Her apology now needn't definitely be yet another PR thing.

Not related to the topic, but I am seeing that Stanley hasn't locked this thread yet, for it doesn't hinge on the ending aspect. He locked one (http://social.biowar.../index/10919815) saying it wasn't related to story. Bioware is in full damage control mode lol. Can't even face the facts on the forums.
oh my they locked that thread... unbelievable
Amusing

So many posters and game-reviewers have split down the middle on almost everything it seems.
Why couldn't bioware just make it good in the first place? ;_;

So did she actually beat the game and is being honest yet, or is she just trying to save face?
my moneys on saving face.. which is strange since she could just lick another psp and hide her face behind it.
I would never assault her personally and those people should be ashamed but yea her voice acting sucked. I'm mostly upset about it because emily wong was cut!

What I do know is that, looking at some of the answers here, I'm beginning to understand why some people see us as whiny fans. Seriously, how old are you guys? 12?

More effort was put into Jessica Chobot's character rather than Tali's unmasking/face.

Because then you wouldn't know what Indoctrination feels like and the ending would have been spoiled by the first people to play it. Let everyone play it, be mind f****ed and then a month after release "boom! surprise!"

To be fair I haven't seen anything other than people being perfectly civil to Merizan.
Annoyingly persistent in bugging her about things she obviously can't know, but civil.

I mean she has nothing to do with whatever is wrong in the game, ending included.
I mean bullying an acountable person is already bad but bullying the wrong person is twice bad.

There are wierdo's in every group. The retake movement did not condone this of course.

I personally wish more women who knew the difference between their butt and a hole in the ground about gaming or geek culture could find work in gaming and geek journalism. As it is, the field is seemingly chock full of faux-geek women who cruise on sex appeal rather than providing genuine substance or insight.Russalka wrote...
