I kind of understand where she's coming from. I mean, I've felt for Bioware since this all blew up; they are after all responsible for my favourite series of games since Capcom lost the plot with Resident Evil, but the whole thing is a powder keg right now and tarring everyone who disliked the ending with the same brush is going to stir up an already volatile situation.

She seems mostly mad that her performance wasn't received well. But she should be mad at the people overseeing her VA session, they're the ones that 1) didn't coax a better performance out of her 2) failing to get a better performance gave the session the green light.

They would never have done that with the professional voice actors (like 6 Takes Seth), they would have re-recorded it as long as it took to get a good performance.

I haven't read either of her blogs, but my guess is that she was told to retract it b/c it would hurt business.

I really do not blame her for her reaction. She has a personal investment in the creation of the game, and that can make anyone defensive. I do not agree with her original reaction however. She claims that ME3 as a piece of art, should not have to be subject to change, due to the opinion of the consumer. That may be correct, if the art was not being sold for profit. However, if the "artist" wishes to retain its consumers, it had better create art that the consumer wants to purchase, or else its audience will shrink drastically.

Well, fair is fair. I really can't ask for more than that from anybody. I gotta say she owned it. Which you don't find too much these days.

Usually ppl just say something like, "if you misunderstood what i said and it offended you...then i'm sorry you were offended." Weasel-y stuff.

But Chobot came right out and said..I was wrong. I'm sorry.

Beyond that I can't ask, nor do I expect anymore.

I would have felt bad for them if not for the pre-release lies and how they've handled the community afterwards.
After the awful P.R responses and the condescending tone their replies have, I can't muster any love for them.

Guys, she's not the one responsible for ME3. I don't get why you guys are so fixated on what she has to say about fans or the game or whatever nonsense she prattles on about on her blog.

Shouldn't you be more concerned about what comes out of Michael Gamble's mouth on Apr 6th instead?

I am sure SHE did not willingly take it down but was told (ordered) to take it down by IGN and very likely EA/Bioware. Her actions were another example of the lack of professionalism in the gaming industry.
 
As for her roll in ME3, it was a waste of time and money on the part of EA/Bioware.
