So what you're saying is Jessica has more going for herself than a doctor who works with cancer patients or a lawyer who specializes in fighting for children who are abused because she knows celebrities and has appeared in magazines, while those two haven't.
Good to know your priorities and how you judge a fulfilling life "bro".

Don't even get me started the implications by which she was put into the game.

Sirtis was awful in that hammy, "Oh lord, this is Star Trek all over again" sort of way. Chobot was awful in that "why is this rock speaking" sort of way.
Seriously, the elcor are more emotionally convincing, and I'm not even trying to flame.

Personal attacks on Bioware employees = unacceptable, ever.
Threatening letters to Bioware or Bioware employees = unacceptable, ever.
Lots of the ranting I've seen on this board = unacceptable, ever.
Like the Occupy movement, it started out with people who had some very legitimate issues and wanted to have their voice heard. Then idiots jumped on board and acted completely irresponsibly toting the Occupy banner, making those with good ways to express valid issues look bad.
Dumb is dumb.

LOL. She's butt hurt that no one wanted her in the game.
Now she won't even stand by her convictions. Typical IGN.
You can laugh at her. But hmm she got paid, she's in ME history as a character in the universe, and she works for IGN. What do you have going on?
The integrity not to wiggle my ass against/around an editor for IGN for a job and "fame?"

Yes, that's strictly trolling. Saying "Retakers don't have careers and are all ugly" is not a statement based in reality, it's just an attempt to get a rise out of people.slyguy200 wrote...

In my mind, no harm no foul, she made a very justifiable mistake, owned up to it, and apologised. She's taking enough undeservwed flack as it is. I mean honestly, how many of us wouldn't have jumped at the chance to be in ME3? While Bioware shouldn't have used her for stunt casting, she did nothing wrong by taking them up on the chance to be in the game. Critisising her performance is fine, but people shouldn't make it personal.

Jessica Chobot's motivations are to push herself more into mainstream and increase her fame which in turn makes her more money and you cant blame her for that at least in the US. Her company is in it to make money and they advertise for anyone who can afford to pay.
Why would anyone be surprised or feel bad about what she has to say about "entitled bratz" or anyone for that matter?
She is just doing her job, she can only say things publicly that are approved by IGN because they sign her paycheck. Her opinion is that of her current employer and whoever they are loyal to. Her company and her can not be taken as credible sources on the subject by reasonable people because they have their hand in the cookie jar. Don't let it bother you. Also before anyone says it, this is not a conspiracy theory about bought off Review companies either. It is just good business to support your customers. Bioware is the customer of IGN, not you. If they were my customers I would do whatever I could within my viewpoint of Ethics to support them and keep them as customers so don't think these comments are aimed at you the customer of Bioware, they are for Bioware to show they are a loyal company to their customers. Her statement was never about you.
