I've gotten almost every war asset there is and I am almost at the end of the game, however my readiness rating has been at 50% the entire time and won't budge. I looked around online and people were saying going Multiplayer can increase the percentage. I play on xbox 360 but I have no interest in multiplayer for this game. Is that seriously the only way to increase my percentage???

Yeah, you need to play MP to increase the readiness.

Well, there's also an iPhone (or iPad?) ME3 app that allows your to increase GR too. (never tried it though)

Yep, if every match you play can increase it from between 3-7%

I maxed out near enough every asset I could get and only got around 7500 TMS, so without MP play it would have only been around 3,500 TMS.

You need 5000 for every possible choice outcome in the endings (extremely few I might add)

However, future DLC may give more war assets so you don't need to play multiplayer at all.

So basically even though Bioware specifically assured users that you wouldn't be required to play multiplayer, you really have to if you want the best ending (Which as I gather still sucks)?

Pretty much.

So if I opt out of multiplayer I'll only get one ending?

Everyone gets only one. Sucky one.

(just kidding...kind of)

No, you will have the main options available, but you will miss out on one "extra scene", basically. Do not want to spoil it for you.

Ok... thanks for the clarification as disappointing as it is... -_-

Bioware has publicly stated that you do not need to play MP for the best possible ending. That is a lie. You need to play MP, or get the Datapad iDiot app, or Infiltrator.

However, future DLC may give more war assets so you don't need to play multiplayer at all.

Could you try rephrasing that in a way that actually makes sense?

@Alex M Brennan.

Well, the max you can get from SP is around 8000 I gather.

So with no Multiplayer play, 50% readiness the max you can get it 4000 TMS.

Future DLCs for the campaign may give more War assets as a result, an increase of at least 2000 would be needed to get the 5000 total military strength with only 50% readiness.

You get me, bro?

It does make sense. Future DLC is going to be written and implemented for Mass Effect 3. That future DLC is very likely to include more War Assets. EMS is War Assets times Readiness. If War Assets go up, EMS goes up.

It's not that bad. You can solo the bronze maps and with 7400 war assets tou need a 68% rediness to get the max.

Also. Im pretty sure you don't have to play up until round 10 to increase it, just doing the little missions every 2-4 rounds gives you an increase in percentage.

The iPhone app actually looked pretty promising when I downloaded it this morning--until it stopped working about 3 hours ago. :crying:

I did a little yesterday. I did 3 bronze and finished 2 and got to 60%... It's ok but it feels more like a chore to me than playing a game...
