I am a Male and I play as MShep. My canon Shep romanced Liara in ME1, stayed loyal in ME2 and then romanced Kaidan in ME3.

I do have one FemShep, she's a bit of a maneater! But I definitely prefer MShep.

Female, femshep and romanced Garrus (though I couldn't say no to Traynor and joined her in the shower, then went "ooops" and had to load a previous save) and then Kaidan second playthrough.

Male, played FemShep(s) who romanced Liara in ME1 and remained faithful in ME2 and ME3.

Also, got male Sheps who romnced Ashley, Miranda and Jack.

Currently working on a new FemShep who'll romance Garrus in ME2 and ME3.

This one is female and has 2 female Shepards: the paragon one romanced Liara/Thane/Thane, the renegade one went for nobody/Garrus/Garrus. It's toying with the idea that next time it chooses a male Shepard. (It's not familiar with the male Shepard's voice, so it hopes that it will not be very annoying...)

Human, Female/4 FemSheps and a Sheploo. Cameron...Kaidan/Thane/Thane...shot Kaidan on the Citadel. Faith...No-one/Thane/Thane...kept Ash alive. Alex... No-one/Thane.... couldn't play the game a 3rd time. Malificent... Kaidan/Thane...killed everyone in ME2 except Thane, Kasumi, and Dr. Chakwas. She's a jerk. Sheploo...Liara/Jack... if I could ever play him again, he'd choose Jack again just because Liara is on his ship and would act smug about it..he remembers her comment about Jack during LotSB. Those are my main ones, I have a ton of other FemSheps with varying deaths during the SM. One thing was consistent, all the FemSheps romanced Thane and he always lived. I see that has served me well.

So far I only completed 4 playthroughs (also counting one I stopped playing after last good byes to your crew). All was with my main.

I am male and playing male Shepard. Romanced with Kaidan on all 4 runs.

No I am not addicted, I can give up Kaidan whenever I want to. >.>

I find the amount of people who play their own gender pretty interesting actually. I'm a pretty active member over at the Bethesda forums and there are a much higher percentage of guys playing as females over there...I wonder what the difference is...? Maybe there's just a much higher percentage of women playing Bioware games than Beth games...

Male, played with FemShep and romanced Liara. When I played ME1 for the first time my first 2 playthroughs were with male Shepard but after I tried FemShep I just couldn't play anymore with MaleShep. FemShep seemed more interesting as main protagonist.

My other, an MShep, is not having a good time...romancing Ashley, then Tali, and not sure what to choose...plus, he went renegade after dying during the ME2 opener, which makes things even more strained...

You're not alone. I'm the same: female, but my mainShep is male.

One of these days when I really have nothing to do I might make a male Shep only for Tali, but I don't see that coming anytime soon.
