It's just that once you listened to one's voice, you tend to stay with them until the end right? Funny that I became a FemShep admirer by accident because I recognized Jennifer Hale's voice so easily after watching someone play Metal Gear Solid. But hey, everyone has their preferences right? And Jennifer Hale did a fantastic job throughout the Mass Effect Trilogy!

Jennifer hale does an amazing job, and it's always cool to see a sci-fi saga that centers around a woman who is actually treated seriously and with some restraint. I'm big on having heroines in games in general tho.
This.
Plus, to me, femsheps radiate a vibe of "finesse" and "competence" (or at least mine does), whereas the mansheps I see pics of usually radiate "thug".

ME1: Female Female Female Male Female
ME2: Female Female Male
ME3: Female
I did a male playthrough just to get the romances with female crew members, but Jennifer Hale's voice is the one I picture for Shepard.

ME1: 4 Femsheps
ME2: 3 Femsheps
ME3: 3 Femsheps, although two of those may never see the end...or even close to it. I stopped at 8 hours on both.
I guess I just like Femshep's voice acting better. I've tried starting male characters, but I could never seem to get into it. And I'm living vicariously through her,

Me too, wierdly enough... and even though I have a femshep, I'm a straight male. It just feels right. Kudos to Hale for making that possible.

Female playing Male Shep, only because when I started playing I felt like he was the "canon" (don't shoot me!) character... aaaaand, then he grew on me. Right now I'm playing my first Femshep and it's been a blast. Starting from ME1! Hopefully, by the time I finish this whole ending fiasco will be solved.
As much as the feminists on the BSN would like you to believe, as well as the Bioware PR staff, male shepard is the "canon" lead.
