I don't think Sandal is as awesome as this phorum makes him out to be.  I mean srsly, he can only say one word.  He uses that word (which I will not utter here, because I kno everyone is going to shout it at there spittle-flecked monitors when they read this post), he uses that word for everything.  So when you ask him about all the dead darkspawn there at the end, his reply says nothing!  He could be trying to say "they we're all running with scissors and tripped."  So, enough Sandal, pleeease.

Sandal obviously is mentally impaired, probably lyrium addled. So he keeps saying that word, because in exchange for his enchantment skills it is at the cost of normal speech. He can't help it.

he said a " few" more things than enchantment..... he says " we left Ozammar", and " hello nice lady" and " good bye" so he's more like a bad ass Parrot who can enchant, and slaughter mass amounts of darkspawn.

Maybe that's what really happened there. His enchantment skillz nuked the hell out of those darkspawn.

Hmm but we don't know whether Sandal really killed those darkspawn or not. Was he splattered in blood? The darkspawn could already have been dead, and he just came in later.

Right before your fight with the archdemon hes in the room waiting to sell you supplies covered in blood surrounded by a few dozen darkspawn bodies... Its a wonder how he got there in the first place lol:lol:

I want to say Sandal just happened to enter the room where the darkspawn are already dead. But the blood on him is pretty convincing proof that maybe.... he killed the darkspawn with his bare hands. Not just the ones in the room, but the ones in other rooms leading to the one he is in. The ones your character killed are actually stragglers that Sandal missed.

Indeed. Sandal could stop the Blight single-handed if something happened that made him want to.
Like the archdemon interrupting his <insertwordhere>...

Yea so Sandal is stronger than even the main character! Watch out! I bet he saw the archdemon and decided hes gonna go pwn him but when he saw the Grey Warden comming he changed his mind and decided to sell him supplies instead.

I'm pretty sure he could have one shotted the archdemon had you not showed up to bother him for enchantments.

The scene you speak about was awesome. I laughed a lot.



Sandal is tainted in darkspawn blood, you ask him what's happened, what is he doing here with all the death darkspawn and he replies with a crazy face: "Enchantement!". ROTFL. It was one of the best moment of the game and a point of relief after the tension of the previous levels.

When I first entered the room I was like "OMFG! What the hell happened in here?" Then I see Sandal! I was more ready to face the Archdemon in there...

Still, I love that guy. I hope to either have him as party member or that Dwarf that wants to go to the circle. Both very adorable. They could merry!

Actually, in the ending it is said she would just complete her studies, but not that she would be able to cast spells.
I think that Sandal, considering his unknown origins, isn't 100% dwarven. Of course, BioWare could say bette than we making assumption. I'd really like him to be a party member in the sequel.

but the dragon stays on top of the tower because he is to scared of Sandal to come down and join the fight
