sounds about right... too bad spending real money does not give you any better chance than using in-game credits. That's why I will never spend additional money on packs, if I did I think it would take about 1k to even get a N7 unless you are really lucky.

Yeh and if u do get an n7 it will probably be a scorpion or talon or wraith, so the packs troll you twice.

stop. digging. the fact that you spent 40 actual bucks on something you could have gotten for free just by playing a video game should be a lesson right there.

this is how gambling problems begin. 

i say this as someone who has unlocked all rare quality items, free of charge, EXCEPT for the carnifex. i have a falcon vii. i hate that piece of ****. i'm not spending one red cent for a pack because it does not increase my chances of getting that pistol even a little bit.

That... sucks. The system is designed specifically to rip people off who are willing to pay. There is nothing to guarantee you will get anything good at all, so it's best to just stop spending money. I mean lord you've nearly bought another ME3.

guys, i know its dumb to spend money on this kind of thing. i knew ahead fo time that i might end up spending 40 bucks to buy one gun. but, that was all the microsoft points i had left over that ill never spend on anything anyways (except maybe ME3s DLC). it was essentially free to me at this point anyways. i figure ive wasted $40 on meaningless things before, so why not on one of the things i do care about.

i did get the revenant from level 1 to level 2 tho, so theres that.

so none of you guys, not even once, payed 160 points for that damn spectre pack???

You're only "wasting" your money if your time is worth less than what you're willing to spend on these packs. In reality, going out and working, then spending that money on packs, is likely a better use of your time than sitting in front of your console all day farming credits. At least money can be spent on more than Spectre packs if you so choose.

Edit: Yeah I bought a couple Spectre packs, I had points left over from buying "From Ashes".

I went out to eat friday with my family and spent 140 us. It tasted real good , but the only thing i got to show for it was a mr. hinky.

I did when the game first came out. I forgot I had about 1000 points sitting in my account for months. Combined with the excitement of Mass Effect Fever as well as the fact that I put 40+ hours into the demo before getting the Krogan, I splurged. It was worth it because I got my Krogan on my 4th pack, so I got him right away
