Not a game but MockingJay. Game wise I'd say Too Human
Too Human's wasn't that bad, it just felt like the game ended at the halfway mark. On the contray to Mass Effect 3's ending, it actually made sense and was coherent.
Mass Effect 3's ending pissed all over everything you did in the first two and third game leading up to that point.

Only because the game could end without seeing the vast majority of the content and you could possibly have a squadmate immune to radiation refuse to help you. It wasn't an actual bad ending, just had 1 annoying plothole and an issue with huge amounts of available content not being part of the main storyline.thejshman wrote...
Fallout 3 without DLC.
In all honesty, I can't recall any game ending that made me feel anywhere nears as negative as ME3's. Other games have poorly executed endings but most (read: any that I can recall) don't build up to something then deliver something completely counter to everything the game stood for up to that point and tear massive plotholes in the game universe simultaneously.
That said, perhaps I don't play enough bad video games?

I don't really care about other games as much as I care for ME.
And hey BioShock was great, it had at least 2 different endings where you see the outcome of your choices. Wasn't even an rpg.
I thought Bioshock's good ending was quite well done & touching. I didn't quite get me to produce any eyeball sweat, but I admit to being moved by it.
But different strokes for different folks of course.
Yeah, though I never cry when playing games. I didn't even expect to find out there was more than one ending though so that contributed to making me pleasantly surprised.
That's part of what makes ME3's ending worse.
The game is all about choices, but you get three different flavors of one ending, while in a game like Bioshock where choices aren't even really a theme, has two distinct endings (and maybe one more, I forget) that really reflect your actions throughout.
Just...gahhh...

Movie takes 1-3 hours. Game can easily take 30 per game per playthrough for ME1 and ME2. Which will I value more?

Yah. There are still parts I like in the rest of the game, but it gets very messy as you go along.

No More Heroes 2 - A practically silent ending.
Skyrim (not worse, but just about) - A few speeches and a shout. Yay.

After finally defeating Bowser, unless you made the choice to go through the door fast enough, the game would freeze on a "pause" screen that never changed. This was an unjustice to those who did not make that choice to end the game. There were no saves or do-overs -- you had to start from the beginning. What a horrible ending.
Here's my list:
