I fail to see how what Bioware did was any different.FanHarel wrote...
Final Fantasy XIII-2. Didn't even have an ending and that wasn't because of any "unique artistic design" or "special story telling". The game deliberately had no ending and Square Enix planned that from the beginning to make us wait and pay for actual closure. Bioware made a mistake, that's their only saving grace; Square Enix denied me closure to purposely dangle the actual ending in my face half a year down the line for 15-20 dollars.
Games with worse endings than Mass Effect 3

How many developers did that? How many actually came out later and DOUBLED DOWN the way Bioware is declaring it will and simply ELABORATES on the full and total retardation?

KOTOR2-Great game but oh my god that ending sucks. I usually stop at the Ravager now.
Skyward Sword-Zelda always has average endings, but I expected so much more from the first game in the timeline. Instead we got "you're cursed imma get reincarnated as Ganon LOLERZ". Meh. Props for [poorly] explaining why the main trio keeps getting reincarnated I guess.
Lords Of Shadow-Let me get this straight, I'm part of the minority that LOVED this game(I also loved Vania' 64 though >.>). The ending completely blew however. Leaves dozens of questions unanswered, and Dracula isn't the final boss. Then after the credits roll you figure out that YOU are Dracula. WHAT THE **** KONAMI. Oh, and you had to buy *****y DLC to clear things up which wasn't worth it at all. Here's hoping ME3s DLC will actually be good.
Someone said Reach, but I actually liked it. Sure it was full of retcons, but I liked that Noble 6 ended up getting Cortana to the PoA and indirectly saving the galaxy. Plus, ending with CE's first scene? That was the perfect idea IMO.

Also I wasn't really a fan of the endings in NWN 2, , but the expansion MotB really made up for it, all of the endings made were good but the plot itself was just amazing.

...Guess what I won't be doing after the abomination that is ME3's ending? I won't be buying any other Bioware product if they still insist on punking their customers past April 6th.

Um, hello? Dragon Age: Origins?Dr. Jacko wrote...
Everything that ended with an epilogue slideshow. I hate those things, and any game that ends with one is immediately awful.

God of War 3
Xenosaga 3 (due to them cutting the number of games from 6 to 3)
The last line of Rogue Galaxy killed the ending
Tales of Graces f (which just came out so *spoilers* you convince the final boss to be your friend. Go power of friendship!)

RYGAR on NES. I remember being so po'd when I finally finished that game, only to get this horrible ending. At the very least, I should have been enshrined as one of those buddah statues in the caves
LOL, I loved Rygar, but I agree with the ending.
But how about Karnov for the NES? (yes I'll reach back with you.)
Just a black screen with the words 'The End'
LOL yes! Wow Karnov ... that takes me back ... !!!
The old days I guess the ending was never as important as the (often painfully difficult) journey of hardcore NES gaming

There is no such a thing as "worse ending than ME3 ending"
But, here you are - other crappy endings:
- Mafia 2
- Divinity 2 (fans didn't like the ending, so devs make a expansion pack that adds more story and gameplay after the ending, and leads to proper one... so, BioWare - you know what to do now)
- Dreamfall
Dreamfall wouldn't have been so bad if the developer had continued with episodic sequels like they had original intended.

Random Bioware Developer: oh look, here is the thread where people write down games with worse ending than ours and it's OVER 9 PAGES LONG!
Casey: oh wow, that's awesome. Guess our ending was epic after all. All work on clarification and closure DLC cancelled!
