how would joining a game late be a glitch? The game is designed so you can drop in, isn't it? And people can't choose what game they'll join anyway, right? Or am I missing something about this bug?

It's spreading like crazy on live i never saw this before today and now everyone is doing it, i had a hard time finding a gold lobby tonight that wasn't doing it.
If you get into a lobby and see all infiltrators just leave, cause there's a good chance they're doing this

I've seen people join games in progress since i started playing the day it came out never understood how or why but it happens from time to time

All I get from Raging Nug is that cheating and or exploiting is ok: do it.

If I was a dev/admin, first thing I would do is check people in this thread that say things to support cheating and exploiting. Willing to bet they do it.

In end, however, I doubt they will do much about it on our end (ie. banning). What I expect WILL happen is credit gains by just playing the game will be removed entirely and only bought through the cash shop. Easier, cheaper, and more profitable to go that route than fixing the game. So keep doing it and soon you won't have no one to play with. /thumbsup

well in his defense , he is saying it's ok to cheat a little bit, as long as you have the self control not to cheat any bigger.well he has changed in the last few pages to now say it's not ok to judge people who cheat a little bit. He believes it's not hurting anyone, and you can't tell the difference between a cheater and a normal person, so that makes it a non issue.

the difference between the credit glitch and other the other glitches is credit glitch uses the game mechanic without any help from modding anything on ur profile or console.

I don't see why. I'm only ever talking about this one exploit, and I'm not telling people to do it, I'm saying it's not an abhorrent evil that people should be banned over, least of all killed. A credit reset seems reasonable, but I think bans would be detrimental to the community.

If people relied on equipment, I'd agree, but I just did a full game of Gold with my friends and I only ended up using one missile. We know not to rush the objective unless it's hacking. As powerful as missiles are, they can make people do stupid things.

By all means keep doing it man, soon only way we will get upgrades is by spending RL money.  That'll show em.

Honestly? I see little difference between this exploit, the way people used to abuse sabotage against Geth, and the way people are exploiting the spawns/decoys on firebase white. All of these make the game trivial on gold and the only real difference is time spent compared to credits gained. A friend of mine used this glitch because he was over N7 200 and still hadn't unlocked the krogan soldier which is the only class he'd wanted to play as since the game came out. If I'd had such poor luck when trying to get a class I wanted I'm sure I would have too. The blame for all forms of abuse/exploits to credit farm falls mostly on the random nature of unlocks.

I HAVE AN IDEA, PATCH THE GLITCH = no more exploiting then we can all play legit. not that hard. if theres a glitch people will exploit it, dont punish thm for it just patch it

It's funny that half the people are looking at it from a business perspective and the other half are looking at it as something that actually hurts the game because people have more stuff.

If u buy pacs with real money or credit farm there both 'sorta of noobish because ur not earning them, so should we punish them for paying money, bioware would never do that because its not cheating if u buy something, ridiculous
