Its rather bizarre how many quotes say one thing, but the game turned out to be the opposite.

Did Bioware really have no idea what they were doing, or were they lying?

Well after telling us those things they knew we were expecting something different...so they switched it around! How clever of them to give us the ending we least expected:THE ONE THEY TOLD  US THEY WOULDN'T DO.
Brilliant right? Actually no. In a really annoying way it's kinda' funny.

What is equally appalling is that Gameinformer had all these interviews with Bioware which promised all sorts of things for the ending, which didn't happen, and yet Gameinformer is still defending Bioware and the ME3 conclusion.

Doesn't Gameinformer's own writers read their own magazine?

I hated the ending but I just chalked it up to the strange artistic tastes of the ME3 writers.

It's infuriating to read something like this. it's obvious someone at Bioware knew what kind of ending people would want. One can only wonder why the f**k they didn't give it to us.

Well, that's all horribly depressing.

Why, if they clearly knew what we wanted in the past, and promised it to us over and over, are they so adamant that they absolutely won't give it to us now?

What change in development to make them think everything they understood about Mass Effect and it's fans was wrong, and they should so the absolute opposite of it in every way, sticking with that complete 180 even in the face of overwhelming customer dissatisfaction and at the risk of future profits and potentially their company?

It's just madness.

Well, he's right on this part. We didn't find the button, we only found the blueprints to build it 20 minutes into the game. That's a whole different story, folks!

How can someone say so many things, make so many promises, and then do the COMPLETE OPPOSITE, and then act surprised when people voice their complaints in one loud, unanimous voice?

[sarcasm]Artistic integrity man, if you don't like it you're entitled and should get over it.[/sarcasm]

How? When? Why?
These are the only words that come to mind.

oh this hurts me. What date is that magazine by the way. I wanna see if I still have it.

Wow. Just wow.

If that's not a flat-out falsehood, I don't know what is. That's EXACTLY what the Crucible is.

This proves that they did not originally intend for the Crucible, methinks.

Casey Hudson needs to read his own words. Then they'll understand why we're so upset.

Tears of sadness...

Maybe funny isn't the right word.

I think we need to hold an intervention and get Hudson in to see a specialist. It's like he's incapable of telling the truth. Almost every direct statement he has made about ME 3 over the last year has been almost the exact opposite of what he says. It has to be an illness.

Spot on!
It wold be ridiculous if it wasn't so sad.

It has to be a world worth saving… I think Mass Effect has that quality to it. If you get rid of the Reapers and win that, wouldn’t it be amazing to just live on the Citadel or just take a ship to Omega? That makes sense.”

Orly?

Upon my word, the entire article, just like that?

this is...problematic.

Must rewrite the endings. Someone else has gotten them wrong.

this one believes ones should gather these articles of misinformation, highlight them, and send them to Bioware.

AND put them in everyones sigs.

Yup I put that part in my sig as well that quote needs to be held for the future.

I've got another quote from here. We should really do this.

The lie that hurts me the most of the one about saving the universe so you can live in it. Every ending destroys the Mass Effect universe were were fighting to save, and that's what gets me down the most (I'm not mad about the ending, just saddened).

It's like it was opposite day or something.

They did the EXACT opposite of what they said they were going to do.
