Throughout the Mass Effect series the homosexual romances for Male Shep are Kaiden and Cortez and for Female Shep there are the Kelly, Liara, Traynor, Diana Allers and The Asari Consort (though really the last two are cut scenes I'm throwing it in there for kicks) romances.

So with this in mind if someone's argument is that the Sheppards have far too many gay interests I will (un)happily point out that the straight relationships out number the gay the ones.

Now as I understand it you're saying that the currently existing characters who have not been cannonized as bisexual or homosexual should not ever be open to exploring that potential aspect of their sexuality based on the idea that not everyone is gay. While I get where you are coming from, and it's absolutely true that no, not everyone is gay, I honestly do not think that should exclude main characters from at the very least addressing (someone's) cannon Sheppard's homosexuality.

Even having a simple cut scene of Male Shep suggesting some awesome man/turian time and Garrus bro-like/awesomely turning Shep down would have been so great. If you're with me on that then cool. If you think that the issue should never be brought with BroShep and Garrus then cool too.

Well, I guess you started typing that before my edit. I don't think there's too many homosexual relationships. 

I think it would be fine if a homosexual shep could bring up homosexual relations to straight squadmates. It would be fine because it would still be 100% in character (as long as they refuse of course).

If you don't like a romance, don't pursue it. It's not like in ME2 where the romances could happen by accident. (Jack, I'm looking at you). It's very petty to deny someone else a story they'll enjoy just because you're not interested in it.

I agree. The current amount of same-sex possible romances is fine, and characters like Garrus and Tali never seemed inclined to swing that way so I don't see why they should be changed.

Some people think it was a stretch to make Kaidan bi, but I always thought there was that kind of vibe from him in ME1 anyway.

This one would gleefully accept the stalwart Garrus Vakarian into its tentacular embrace. The noble Turian's metallic epidermis would be sharp and painful to the soft jelly of this one's external membrane. Fortunately, this one finds little discomfort in the reception of physical trauma.

Not everyone on the ship would throw themselves at you either. But they do; most of your companions can be romanced. Are people really like that in real life? NO. It's a game mechanic so that we all can do what we want. Same for the gay characters. Your title is appalling.
