I have 6 ME2 imports ready to go, but can't muster up the chi necessary to take my other shepherd's to their imminent deaths (or indoctrination fight, whichever). Hard to put 150 hours in my shepherd and have the traintrack ending Bioware laid out.
Not sure I can go back unless the fix this and make it right. Right now I'm trying to hang in there and play some multiplayer while waiting for their decision.
Anybody find their will to replay this game sapped by the ending....

I tried. Everytime I put the disc in and start playing, I lose interest after around 5-10 minutes and shut it off.

I haven't lost any will to play the game at all, still having a blast with it.

It took me 2 weeks to start a new playthough.
Even then, I didn't finish it.
I just have the Normandy parked outside the Cerberus base until the new ending is on my hard drive.

I'm actually on my 4th playthrough right now! For some reason I couldn't bring myself to finish the 2nd time. Not even out of a feeling of sadness or anger at the ending, but I just kind of...lost interest in the game after Sanctuary. Third one finished, and I wasn't nearly as enraged as I was the first time, however I still don't like it. I just had a "meh" feeling.

Played it once, won't again until ending is fixed.

Just let Marauder Shields kill you on each ending.
Makes the game so much more livable

Sorry, I don't know what you mean by let the Mirauder shield kill you at the ending?

I replayed all 3 games again, not for an enjoyable narrative, but to see if I could find any hint that the Catalyst would be an AI Reaper contoller, and drive the lore of ME off a cliff.
And no, Starchild and his entire conversation felt completely out of place from the rest of the game, and series for that matter.

It's an in joke that the last Marauder you kill before the going to the Citadel is named Marauder Shields because that's what it looks like when you look at his health bar.The Makr wrote...

Right before I finished Mass Effect 3 I was ecstatic over the thought of re-playing the entire trilogy from start to finish. I cannot convey enough how excited I was to do that. Of course, then I actually finished the game...and my excitement perished completely.
People often ask me "how does the ending ruin everything that came before it?" Unfortunately, when taken at face value, the ending un-does everything I fought for over the course of three games. That's how it ruins it. It makes everything I did across three games meaningless. Why bother playing through it again when you know it means nothing in the end?
Spoiler alert! You hear nonsensical logic, everyone dies, you literally destroy all of the systems in the galaxy, and people and entire civilizations are dead or stranded, the end. It would be like watching the original Star Wars trilogy only to find out that it was all a dream in Luke's head as he wakes up on a cow farm.
Me: "So all of those adventures I just experienced had no meaning?"
Lucas: "Yep! Pretty badass, right?"
Me: "No, that sucks. Thanks for ruining the magic of your universe."
Sad times for everyone.

the incessant and unskippable cinematics are the biggest deterrent for me. the ending makes the story moot, but some of the set pieces are really good. If I could just skip the now-meaningless exposition, I could replay this sucker up until thessia concludes quite a bit.

As I've said elsewhere. I find myself with the will to play ANY game sapped.
You see I planned to spend my gaming time for a good long while playing Mass Effect, completing 3, replaying 3, then replaying the whole trilogy. My eyes lit up in anticipation as the moment I had waited for for 5 years came to pass, the end of the trilogy and then... well, you know the rest.
With that plan dashed to pieces I find myself in a void, gamewise. The time I'd spend gaming is instead spent here, and nothing seems worth playing. I'll get over it, but still, it's rather sad.

Same. I really liked the rest of the game, but the ending made me not want to play it again.
Why try for the "perfect" ending when they're all just different colours of depressing?
