I no longer had those feelings after completing the game.

I also was looking forward to playing the whole trilogy from start to finish, but right now I just can't.
Please let there be good news on Friday.

Even playing MP doesn't feel the same to me anymore. Last night I played for the first time in weeks, and I didn't want to promote my level 20 characters because I didn't want to grind back up to 20 all over again. I don't think any game ending has ever had such a negative effect on me, and I've been playing video games for well over 20 years. It's rather unfortunate.

Still won't be buying "Real ending DLC" or anything like that. Like I've said before, I paid for the full game (Actually, I paid for the CE) and I'm sick of being nickle and dimed.

I don't even want to play the old games again due to this conclusion. Even if it was one little cut scene difference then it would be worth it, but well it is what it is.

Which is incredible, since it was, until recently, my favorite series of all time.

Playing in this fashion, the sting isn't that bad. As a Paragon who got everyone out alive and loyal on the SM and is kicking ass all over the galaxy in 3, the foreboding doom just can't be shaken.

Eh. I just started a new Infiltrator build in ME1 that im gonna bring over. Hopefully by the time I get to ME3 (I want to get him to lvl. 60) the situation with the ending should be finalized.
Godspeed.

I haven't been able to play ANY videogames since playing the ending. All I feel when I think about other games is apathy. Was THAT their strategy all along?!

As I've said elsewhere. I find myself with the will to play ANY game sapped.
You see I planned to spend my gaming time for a good long while playing Mass Effect, completing 3, replaying 3, then replaying the whole trilogy. My eyes lit up in anticipation as the moment I had waited for for 5 years came to pass, the end of the trilogy and then... well, you know the rest.
With that plan dashed to pieces I find myself in a void, gamewise. The time I'd spend gaming is instead spent here, and nothing seems worth playing. I'll get over it, but still, it's rather sad.
^ This is very much how I feel. I tried playing ME1 but did not get very far, A friend of mine is still playing ME3 over and over to try and unlock the "good" ending...and I didn't have the heart to tell him that they are all the same....but he invited me to play MP with him, and I tried, but I normally don't like MP in RPGs (White Knight Chronicles being an exception for me) to begin with and I just couldn't get into ME's MP since it's all so pointless anyway. I only played one round and then went back to reading the book series I bought.
Aw well. I loved Mass Effect, It ended horribly badly and I have no interest in playing any ME content ever again....but I still have really fond memories from back when Bioware cared. ME coulda been one of the best Sci-Fi franchises ever created...with ME3 out, it's not...but it was still fun initially.
