I've been trying for a while now. Made it through Grissom Academy this morning. Talked to Sam, Joker, and EDI, saved my game and turned it off. No more willpower today.
Anybody find their will to replay this game sapped by the ending....

What a sad state of affairs this is. It's utterly depressing how much damage the ending has done to fans of this series. It went from being something people considered to be "the greatest video game series of all time" to "biggest disappointment in the history of video games" and "I can't play it again".

There are only 2 ME games worth talking about, just like there are only 2 Terminator movies worth talking about, 2 Alien movies worth talking about, etc.

And I'm a ME fanboy. Sad when your fanboy's are starting to crumble.

I'm replaying it again now, but that was based on the hope that BioWare would release something that would properly wrap up the trilogy. If they don't fix the ending i don't know if i could ever replay it again.

Same here, can't play. I'll play when they fire Casey hudsen and the rest of the husks at Bioware.
I'll play to clebrate there departure.

For me it's not really a matter of will, but desire.
I am sure I could force myself to play the entire game again. But I have no interest in doing so.

My second playthrough is stalled before Cerberus base.
A third is stalled before Tuchanka.
It's just the endings, it's also due to:
- no ME4 coming after this one, thus no reason to make import saves
- having fun trying to write fan fics
- having fun playing MP.
but yeah, the lack of endings is a big factor. If they put out a fix-all DLC, I'd play through once more, with *feeling*....

Mass Effect was my favorite sci-fi franchise, story wise i'd pick it over star trek, star wars, halo, etc.etc.. I played through 1+2 with five different male characters and planned on playing through many many more times to experience all the variety ( I didn't even make a femshep yet) but minutes after finishing I had no desire to do it again ( 4 characters will never be completed and who knows how many more will never be). I'm trying to force myself to play through as my extreme renegade character ( first one was more middle of the road paragon) but it is taking forever since I have no desire to see the same ending again and again and again. On a side note does anyone feel that the dialogue trees have the same effect. most of your conversations are one of two choices and are spread pretty thin with no real way of mixing it up like in the other two games. In two play throughs you can experience most conversations good or bad with no middle grounds.

I have one completed FShep and one Sheploo with 3 waiting in the wings at various points in the game. I have decided to take a break from ME3 on my PS3 and play ME1 & 2 on my PC. Even started a new DAO character with the Ser Gilmore mod. So I guess my answer is "yes."

Yeah, the replayability to this game is totally shot. I am enjoying multiplayer more than I thought I would, but I have almost no desire to play my FemShep. So disappointing.

I did two playthroughs for the romances I wanted to do (finishing the second time was sooooo much worse). Tried to do a third for my renegade shep but I just couldn't get into it.

I went and replayed ME3 up-untill the end missions and lost interest. Im not compelled by the game like I was before. Its certainly a direct consequence of having seen the finall ending. Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 where played 4 or 5 times before I was happy with my how I ended my character.
Man..., the game has no replay value
ever since they sterilized the galaxies sub-way system.., not to mention the dire dilemma of having the Victory Fleet marooned on the planet which is currently incapable of sustaining even a small human population. Now add the aggricultural demands of the various species who will probably just end up killing off mankind when bouts of starvation set in.
Man..., the game has no replay value
