Has anyone tried this on any difficulty level? I am wondering if its possible.
btw, a quick question to those reading this....what are the more useful runes for enchantment?

two words:
Master Stealth.
one difficulty:
Nightmare.
the build just depends on your play style.

do you wear light armor or heavy? are you using melee or range weapons? Personally i think soloing nightmare as rogue is close to impossible...

If you're asking for soloing, Paralyze and Dweomer Runes.
I soloed an Assassin/Duelist dual-wielder on Nightmare, there's a thread on this forum about soloing with Rogues, I posted some tips there, as did some other people soloing with archer rogues.

I'll second that... After inadvertently picking up that combination on my first playthrough the whole game changed. All of a sudden my rogue could slaughter at will. The same is true in reverse... since you don't have teammates to bail you out, being incapacitated usually means game over. I would be biased toward finding ways to raise your mental resistance through stats and armor.
