While it would have been awesome to see the Destiny Ascension blasting a Reaper to smithereens, most of what goes on in that battle occurs off screen. Just like the Battle of the Citadel, we are only seeing small snippets of the entire space battle.
So it would be wrong to say that the 'Destiny Ascension' does nothing during the battle. We don't see what the vast majority of the ships are doing during the battle, the DA included. As the most powerful dreadnought in the Citadel fleet, it is probably a safe bet that it did some damage.
Yeah I agree with you that what you said is something that we can safely assume. My point is, that after all the big deal that was made about bringing in different fleets, from all the races, all we see is some alliance and turian ships shooting, and the Ascension is nowhere to be seen...it's all just so overwhelmingly....underwhelming....
Just wondering: would we feel better if we had been granted a cutscene with the Destiny Ascension blasting a Reaper-Capital to hell at Thessia and getting rushed by half a dozen Reaper-Destroyers?
