I will request my money back if this is the case

- All the files are in My Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/AddIns but do not work (Aside from the Blood Dragon armor).
- The Shale DLC is in the Installed tab of the DLC view in the main menu.
I don't see any reason why these should not work. If they don't, I will be insufferable in requesting a refund from BioWare, since I apparently can't use any of their DLC or mods, which were givens when I got the game. I'm very pleased with the vanilla game so far, but I refuse to be denied these options.

Their own DLC was not exactly free, and I'm not going to get any other premium DLC if I can't get the free ones to work. Use your brain.
For the other person; I'm not going to reinstall the game unless my save files remain intact. Is that possible?

It seems the OP wants money for something he got for free.

You want to run DAUpdater and install them through that.

Dumping stuff in your addins folder is not the correct way to get it to install.

Correct, I tried that procedure and it didn't work. I manually installed the DLCs using DAupdater then logged in and presto it authorized all of my DLCs, how hard can it be?

No-one here has any obligation to providing support, and no-one here is going to lose any sleep by walking away and leaving your problem unsolved. You might be pissed off and annoyed at this situation (which is understandable), but taking steps to avoid pissing off and annoying the people trying to help you is going to get you a much better resolution to the problem.

Just as a friendly tip, calling people morons doesn't make them want to help you.

I'll give respect to someone who doesn't ask stupid questions. I've obviously taken the proper steps (as shown by the original/subsequent posts) so my problem doesn't appear to be something obvious. I just don't want anyone wasting my time by asking if I've used DAUpdater.exe or looked to see if it was installed in-game. Sorry if I've offended anyone, but apparently my solution isn't so simple.

But I'll assume you've gone through the correct process for installation, and so now we have to narrow down the failure point.
Do all the mods you've installed show up in the "Installed Content" tab in-game?
What do you mean when you say the Shale DLC is "not working"?

When I say it's not working, I say that the point on the world map where I gate Shale (Which my friend has, in the southwest area) does not appear. Nor does the raven which is supposed to appear in my camp/major cities with the respec mod.

So you've purchased the control rod, and Honnleath does not appear?
This is a known bug with a fairly straightforward workaround - disable the DLC, force load the game, save, re-enable the DLC, and reload.

At a guess in your arrogance you skipped this simple step and this is why 'nothing is there' it needs to be registered.

That'll work wonders. ._.
Btw, if you insult me, good for you, i wont really know because this is the last time i'm going to post in this topic, i was going to try and help you narrow it down, since i had that same problem and i fixed it, but seeing as you're basically insulting everyone who tried to help you in this thread.. nvm.
BUH BYE.

I might be inclined to look into this problem for you and helping you out if you didn't come off as a total ****** from the very start. I hope the Stone Prisoner never works for you

I tried this and it didn't fix the problem but thanks for trying to help.
