Is Zev even worth the trouble?

So...if you are a female and chose to romance a male...Zev....IMO not a good choice.

And so does Zev it seems. The way I see it he is by far one of the more developed characters, and certainly better to romance than Alistair and Leliana both. He gives you the earring if you went through it the right way. You can be either commited (Love) or treat is as a fling (Adore). He will only start the convo if he is at love with you.

And again...he can't hold his own in a battle. I roll my eyes all the time....Zev is out again.
What is he good for???oh yeah...if you want a 3 or 4 some.

Do you have to be done with the game before that happens? Maybe Bioware didn't do Zev justice?

i read somewhere that he does not betray you if you are sleeping with him (or was it simply manage to sleep with him? mm) ... i have never tested it though but i will find out in my current game for myself because the "preparation" is done lol.

He doesn't betray you if he likes you, you need ~50 approval.

You don't get earing til redcliffe before final battle. Zev is awesome! Way better than freakin' Alistair.
If you say so.
Personally, I think Zev is not at all good looking and has a really annoying accent.
Too girly for me.

Whats the stats on the earring I forgot
The earring is his gift to you, as a plot item it has no stats.
With enough gifts, Zev will fall in love with you just like any other romanceable character. I was taken aback during a convo with Wynne when she complained about all the noise my PC and Zevron were making in his tent! I was totally "but they havent done anything!!"
Anyway, Zevron will present your PC with the earring "it's to say thanks, don't get the wrong idea" after the encounter with Taliesan.

Ropes, really? Men, women, ropes, leather... Pardon me, I'm going to go hang out with Oghren. I think I need a drink.

Reasons to love Zevran:
At +1 approval for each "session," he's easy to please and doesn't take you for granted!
He can pick locks. What can Alistair do? Nothing that a mage can't (dispel, ranged stun/mana burn, tank? Mages can do all of those, and better).
Take him along to the Brecilian forest and try taking the acorn from the stump at the old hermit's camp. Hilarity ensues.
When you're captured and need to be sprung out of prison, pair him with Oghren, Sten, or even Leliana. Teh funnay.
Take him into the Deep Roads and talk to Ruck. Zevran's not quite as amoral as you'd think, although he has a... unique way of expressing it.
Speaking of amorality, though, damn if it isn't convenient to have Zevran in your party when you want to choose a, er, more unconventional resolution to a quest. I don't think even hitting The Pearl upsets him (and 99% sure Morrigan, Alistair, and Leliana object).
Jewelry > flowers.

Zev's romance is hands down my favorite. It takes work to get him up to that devoted level, but I think there's something sweet about the playboy finally falling in love. And if you can get the happy ending with him...it's definitely the sweetest ending possible.

you know, Zev is probably just not that into you. he likes the boys. i mean he'll suck it up and sleep with a woman if its a sound tactical decision. but when it comes to preference, well, yeah.

And yet he tells a female PC (one being romanced by Alastair, even) that he prefers women. Not that I doubt he says something different to male PCs ...
