Marauder shields is all the clarification I need. Bioware's 'clarification' might be a condescending blog post for all I care. If they announce non-ending DLC, i'd much rather throw my money at this artist than for retaking omega or multiplayer skins.

I expected this, let's just hope that their offer improves the execution a lot more. I'm still waiting for PAX.

PS: I hope he's not serious about the 2 week's time thing, PAX is around the corner and they had enough time to plan something for it. If they keep playing the delaying game this will get ugly pretty fast.

Yeah, a small article in a Mexican newspaper, is hardly proof of what is really going on. We should wait untill pax has gone for an announcement at which point things will be ome very interesting for bioware. If the majority of fans demands are not met and bioware simply gives us a 30 slide PowerPoint presentation tacked onto the end, then they stand to lose some 60-70% of their fan base

that is no strategy that is suicide.

So we wait and hope and if we do not get what we have asked for then we keep holding the line.

I think I've reached the point of not caring. If they want to change/clarify/expand the endings, so be it and good on them. If they want to keep it like it is, so be it. I check in from time to time just to see if there's any news. Usually it's bad or non-existent. I just wait and see unless they do something else to irritate me. I give them to PAX. After that, I may walk away for Bioware for good.

I will wait till Pax.It probably the end of road with me and BW but they won't miss me and there are other games.To bad.I have been a fan since BG 1 came out.Still if this is the direction they want to go more power to them.Just not the road I want to travel.

Can someone point me to the statement where they say something will/will not be announced at PAX? Last official statement I remember was Ray's, and he just said 'April'. Well PAX is only 6 days into April. Whole 'nother ~24 days to go after that...

I'll wait until I hear the word over the weekend. If it's true they're not doing anything but giving a "here's what you don't get about the endings." I'm done with BW. They can keep their "art."

Its a bit disapointing that nothing matters what you have decided before.
But 10 minutes of a game can not ruin the whole fun I had with this series.

Nobody has specifics, it's speculated given the outcry that they will use PAX to attempt to pacify the fans.

Well, if they are planning to give us some proper explanation i will can handle with that but if they will continue in that starchild crap i dunno, It ruin my favourite franchise. But which haunts me more is fact they maybe will ask for money for PROPER EXPLANATION DLC....
2-3 weeks before release i was so hopefull i was planning to run whole series again and again but after first playthrough i was so disgusted, i can´t even almost choose second class for next play...

Claiming that the ending was the writers' best effort, and that they couldn't please everyone, is unfortunate. If either were truly applicable, in this case, there would be no controversy. You didn't fail to please "everyone", in a normal sense. You failed in this on a massive and unprecedented scale.

And now we get clarification. :/

I will wait for PAX anouncement, but expecting they will do nothing about the endings.

Disgruntled people say a lot of things and this time there where a lot of them very loud and for longer then any firm would like. But in the end it is only about money and for so very long firms have brought consumer products on the market not on par with their advertising and sufferd hardly any consequences.

So we are in for the long haul and time will tell if this episode is a storm in a theecup or a real storm with real consequenses.

we're not asking for different endings. we're asking for them to finish the endings (based on the IT being true).

if the IT isn't true, then we do need new endings. at which point this statement would seem bad if it was actually from EA's home office. which it isn't.

i'm still holding out for PAX East and hearing the words "we've had the endings all along, EA wouldn't let us publish them, being our publisher and all, and we're releasing them on Tuesday."

and i say "on Tuesday" because if anyone says "we're releasing them right now" there will be an awkward silence as everyone physically at the convention absorbs the fact that they won't be able to download the rest of the ending until they get home.

At this point I'm losing interest in it all. I guess I'll just youtube the 'clarification' of that mess and move on from Bioware. After years of buying every game and DLC from them I'll be done.
If they seriously think this is a good way to end the epic series of Mass Effect then I really have no reason to buy anything from them again.
