There is an article in today's (2nd April) newspaper Reforma in Mexico about the ME3 ending controversy.
Daniel Gonzalez, director of marketing and public relations for EA Latin America, says that they will release no DLC with a different ending. There will be a DLC to better explain the details of the ending, but the ending will remain the same.
Regarding the future of the franchise, he declared that ME3 was the end of Shepard but not the end of the game, and promised that news about more DLC would be forthcoming in two weeks' time.
I don't think that leaves an awful lot of room for interpretation. For anyone who was hoping for a different ending and not a clarification of the dreadful current one, it doesn't look good.

Reforma does have an article dated April 2nd on their site (and as a PDF too), but you have to be a subscriber to see it. The title is "Exigen mejor final para Mass Effect 3" or "[They] demand a better ending for Mass Effect 3".
Anyone who's already subscribed to the newspaper but doesn't have an online account can make an account for free. If OP could do this and upload the PDF for us or take screenshots of the article, or something...
I couldn't find my subscription number to get in, but I did take a quick picture:
PERFECT!!
I dont want a new ending, i want them to explain it more, and make DLC to make sence of all the plotholes.. This way the game is much longer playable.

Also, I doubt someone who works at an EA Latin America Branch knows what the America/Canada based Bioware are up to. Anything he might have heard is, at worst, out of date or secondhand.
This.
And 2 weeks time before any announcements when PAX is 3 days away? Real.
Not trustworthy.
Also possible miss-translation. Considering how much such issues have effected jappanese developers I do not take much stock in this either way.

I'll delete all my BioWare games, close my account, and I will never be back. After all, I have my own artistic integrity to preserve.

The proof is right there, and yet just because it's EA-Latin America, it's not credible. They wouldn't be able to post it if it were false. I'm pretty sure all EA knows what each part is doing.

If all they do is clarify... They will have lost my patronage forever.
Synthetics kill organics so i made synthetics to kill organics every 50k years so synthetics don't kill organics... Reapers... Were just turned from fearsome enemies to completely inane blobs.
The star child should just be removed period.
If there is no change, then i will never again purchase anything from bioware. They broke my heart, i had invested so much attachment to this series. I will not risk that again.

I love how people are discrediting this when it's right in front of their faces, and really, it was said all along that there was no new endings coming.

I don't have any belief in a new ending, but I have even less belief that a giant international company knows what all hands are doing. You must have no experience at all if you think that.

They wouldn't be able to release something like this if they didn't know. But really, it's nothing we haven't heard before. Hudson said there would be no new endings, just clarification.

Clarification will not salvage this. If they do not entirely rewrite the ending with truly varied and diverse possibilities. One of which is a happy one. Because why not? It's a fantasy anyway so just give us the chance to get a happy ending. No relays hoing boom and so on.

Technically speaking using the dream or indoctrination theory IS to better "explain" the ending.....they are just lying because they can't admit they always planned to release the real ending as DLC. This is like when they promised the ending would tie up all loose ends and have variety and on and on and on.....it's a blatant lie.
Still, it's not news.....BioWare has said the same long ago before they went dead silent. I doubt the dude actually knows a single thing(he's an EA employee, how could he?) so he's just parroting what the real EA(US) and BioWare said.
NOT news.

|F|or the record, it's extremely |u|nbe|c|oming of Bioware to play out this distasteful ending any longer. With any luc|k|, |e|veryone might get what they've been |a|sking for, but I wouldn't count on it. |A|re we ever going to get what we've been looking for? |N|ot likely. |D|efinitely going to question my eagerness to ever purchase a |B|ioware game aga|i|n.
|O|n one hand, it's been a fun experience |w|hich has provided me with m|a|ny enjoyable hou|r|s of gam|e|play. On the other, I |f|eel as though I've been r|o|bbed of my time f|r|om the last t|e|n minutes. |V|ariables and choices matt|e|r? My ASS! |R|edo the ending, or I'm done.
