Assuming this is 100% fact, it's the best way to follow up an atrocious ending to a beloved franchise. I mean, what game shouldn't end insulting everyone who ever loved it?

Really though, explanation? We get it, the ending sucks, they can't "Explain" anything we don't already know. The greatest philosophical minds have went over the ending and found it lacking in even the most abstract sense. The one potential salvation is the Indoctrination Theory, which still leaves the massive issue of absolutely 0 closure at the games end.

So, I'm drawing my line in the sand right now. If the "DLC" Or whatever we call it now is just "Explaining" why Bioware thinks the ending doesn't suck, instead of actually addressing the multiple technical failings of the ending, I am done with Bioware. Because what they're saying is clear: "You just didn't get it, hur hur".

Possibly the most insulting aspect of the ending that was guven is that none of our choices mattered... Not even the one i was yelling at my screen during the entire end sequence. The Quarian/Geth war ended, for me, in peace. EDI fights to protect Joker... So clearly synthetics and organics can coexist. Even thrive. Yet none of that matters or is in any way reflected in the end. EA and Bioware can take their explanations and shove them. I want a radically altered ending that reflects my decisions. Because that is what was promised time and again.

They are complete idiots... ban me I don't care. This a bone head move... how many people have pick the ending apart writers, business people, PR people have to point to them the endings just don't work in every way possible.

Good Job EA and Bioware. Took one of the greatest franchise in game history and turned into a complete joke.. That's what Mass Effect is going to remember as in the end.. a joke. Fodder for internet memes... great job cementing ya'lls place in history.

Now lets see how the backtrack on this statement before PAX's.

Yeah, I know it's a bit petty for me to be happy that EA/Bioware will waste money on DLC no one will buy, but until the laws of physics are changed to allow for Origin refunds I will continue being petty.

Easily doable, given their ability for PR speak. The multiplayer fiasco was a fun one, as was the A, B, C style endings.

Hudson has said there is no new ending. They are clarifying and explaining the ending to those that didn't understand it.

Well i guess the mass effect trilogy was ruined after all well it was fun worst part is i donated for all these things to make a new ending but i still got hope they will make one
