Dear EA/Bioware,

I'm am just one fan like many more. If you do not make the promises you said you would keep in the marketing strategy you will never see my money again. I think I'm just happy because I get to walk away from this company and never have to deal with this bull crap again. I'm not going to deal with people who go from treating their fan base well to a company who decided that their fans will do what they want. If its that hard for you to come out with a project with multiple endings and different conclusions than you should have never started it from the get go.

I'm not waiting for any future DLC. Bioware is done in my eyes.

Laters ya'll.

One of the things i find amusing is the argument of artistic license... I don't see how Bioware had much artistic license to be honest. What they had was the responsibility to deliver on their promises. and now that they failed to do so, they are retreating behind some argument of "artistic license".

If you promise a certain product and then fail to deliver, you can't argue that it was all "artistic license".

You can stick your "clarifications" up you emergency excretion port, Bioware.

The problem is that we have no idea what "claricfication" means. It could be anything from IT to basically the same ending with fewer plot holes (however that might work). A discussion seems pretty pointless at the moment, we simply don't have enough information.

Just wait for their announcement. Changing the ending and continuing the ending are two different things.

Well you can agrue because EA and Bioware are argueing... but that arguement holds no value.

I never wanted them to scrap the ending. I only wanted a continuation, with better conclusion. Or better, continuation through Indoctrination theory.
This isn't particularly bad.

Same!
What has been seen cannot be unseen imo and tbh the stranded races and the rebuilding of the galactic community could make for a great game, lots of potential drama/problems. I'm excited to see what happens after ME3. But yeah, plot holes MUST be sorted.

Anyone who thought there would ever be a "new" ending was fooling themselves anyways. They are not going to retcon the entire ending of the game, that is just not how these things are done.

That is not to say that there will not be a "continuation" of what we saw, perhaps even expanded to show different timelines of what was going on there at the end. They simply will not completely scrap an entire ending. No game has ever done that before.

I wouldn't expect any game developer to re-write an ending after it's release. But to leave a trilogy where hundreds of hours have been invested, riddled with plot holes, failed promises and recycled footage subject to DLC clarification is beyond poor.

Bioware put a dent in their reputation with DA2. That dent has now become a gaping hole it would seem.

I have to say that to me mere continuation can't fix this... this was a breaking of the very premise of the entire series... that our choices mattered... in this ending, the choices didn't matter at all... That's why just continuation or clarification is inadequate in my opinion

no offence but why only Latin American division says so? and others are still quiet? Well anyway if this actually happens then I am sorry but EA killed yet another franchise. and another game developer.

I'll wait til this weekend....I'm not taking the San Pablo Newsletter or whatever Spanish speaking publication at face value....just as I didnt take ME3's endings at face value.....why? Because if I did that, they'd be Ridiculously AWFUL

You got that right... One of the things i keep wondering about is why do people say it's silly or whiny to want a happy ending. I think there should be one, just like there should be over a dozen endings, all reflecting choices all being possibly true endings... Instead what we have is a, and yes there is only one ending, ending that completely screws over the galaxy and makes no sense.

Bioware aren't getting any money from me for ME3 DLC unless it comes with a different ending. Why should I buy more DLC when it won't make any difference to my Shep?

So simply because the language it was printed in is Spanish you're not going to take it seriously? Even if the paper was from say, Spain?

I know there aren't many compelling reasons to believe what's in the newspaper is true, but I don't see many compelling reasons to believe it isn't true, either. Wanting to wait for something directly from BioWare, I understand. Disregarding anything because it's from Mexico, that's something I can't wrap my head around. There are disreputable newspapers in Canada, too.

Agrrrr, can't wait for Friday to come!
Maybe they'll continue the story and in that continuation we could get those real multiple endings, who knows. I would love that Indoc. theory is correct, but how they are treating us right now, I'm afraid this is not going to end well, neither for them, neither for us. But what I can't see is where is the logic in all this, why do this in the first place???? What's the catch???

I would never do such a thing to my fans, it is not morally right thing to do. People have emotions and memories, people will not forget this! Do they really think that we are so stupid??? And hungry?
If they don't give us what was promised, I'm gone, really gone. This is so insulting! I don't care on which way they'll do it, DLC/patch/something, but I want what was promised. They don't deliver, pa-pa, goodbye BW and EA. They have stepped the line already with this harassment of an ending and intentional ignore of major fanbase population. I will not give them the pleasure to hurt me and insult me even more. I will stay civil to the end. I'll wait till they release that "clarification", and if it's not done right, I'm done. That simple.
