If they're going to just clarify the endings, so be it; let's see what they can do-and hope they don't make things worse...because they totally can and it'll be worse for them, not all of us; we can take our money and move on, after all!

He's just trying to get his 1 minute of fame and will soon be forgotten.
Who really needs change to the end? lol But a better clarification to what happened would be a start and everyone who's still alive drinking at the bar.

There are differences between press releases (prepared by the company) and interviews (prepared by the paper).elaf000 wrote...
WHY is it being published in Mexico when the EA main offices have no comments.

I don't want epilogue slides. That's a cop out. I'd pay for an expansion pack. I can get epilogues on DeviantArt for free. If it's just slides or something lazy, I'll pass on paying and move on from BioWare/EA.

An exaggeration of course, but they did lose me as a customer if this news is the truth. The majority doesn't want to hear about the ME universe ever again if the endinf stays the way it is, let alone buy games taking place in it (somehow).
Also, due to the destruction of the Mass Relays, I wonder what kind of games we should think of. Prequels? Nobody would feel the drive to engage themselves in such a plot, knowing the clusterf*ck Shepard would cause in the future. Or would it be games taking place thousands of years in the future? Mass relays somehow are rebuilt? Ugh, I don't even want to think about it. Kots van het idee.

I want one to be this bittersweet triumph, i want one to be a complete triumph where none of these three choices are even there, just perhaps a true conventional hard fought victory, i want the decisions i made to matter... not to just be given a final decision of what colour explosion would i like as i watch galactic civilization get completely screwed over.
is it truly so wrong to want a game to have the possibility of ending happily? why is it wrong to ask that shepard survive and there to be a happy ending... it's a fantasy, a wonderful space opera that has reached its crescendo... but right now it just falls flat when it should play the loudest.

For real, I've worked in Microsoft here in Brazil and here in LA we're the last ones to know the truth about rumors and things like that.

We have no idea what this "additional content" will be. If you're not happy after their announcement, go ahead and rage. But Friday comes quick. Don't be too hasty before then.

Either they will expand, clarify, and add on to the ending. Or if a certain "theory" proves to be true they will pick up right where we left off.
What gets me is the fact that your last save file puts you back way before the ending, before you hit Cerberus. Any DLC has the potential to affect all the events thereafter. Almost like that was the initial intention. Or else why not let your last save be before Earth? Or right before the Citadel? I think a lot of this stuff was deliberate.

Well we shouldnt have thought they would "change" the ending. I never thought that option was on the table.

and i still want to hope they change the ending... just... because this game series deserves better than what it got...

Because once you finish the Cerberus Base all the other star system are locked out, and they have said they aren't going to do any "post ending" DLC.
Much as I wish for dlc where you actaully get to win the game, the closer it getst he more convinced I am that all we are going to get are some text slides letting us know that everything turned out just fine, you know if you don't pay attention to all the stuff that makes no sense.

Wait until Friday, then you can burn your discs or let the rage overwhelm you.

Yep. I've seen nothing official anywhere. Everywhere else on the net links to this thread, rather than the actual story itself. So....
TBH it feels like people are trying to bait Bioware into an early annoucement
