I am holding out for PAX. If Bioware's statement is the same as EA Latin America is giving now, I will not be happy, and I definitely will not make any DLC purchase or purchase of the Dragon Age series. I will then only buy Bioware games in the future after rave reviews from users, and only once a series is fully finished. Professional reviewers have lost my trust.

It's scattered throughout the thread, people saying they won't believe it because it's specifically a Mexican newspaper or that it's in Spanish. It's really weird. I understand not believing it because you've never heard of the paper, you have doubts EA's other arms know what they're talking about, and/or you'd rather hear it directly from BioWare--but not because it's specifically from Mexico. It's odd to me because I don't remember the sexbox controversy coming from that country.

Oh right, people are far too quick to play the race card around here. It could simply mean: "WTF does somebody thousands of miles away and speaking another language know about it."

But whatever, it's not like Bioware/EAs word counts for s**t either, after the bald faced lies they put out about the endings pre-release.

If this is true Bioware and EA is finished for me, if they are not going to release...
I am hoping for a change in the ending still but if this article is correct mod should ban me from this forum right now.
But still, let's have hope they will change this irracional crap they made at the end.

If this is true then, Bioware, I am out.

Done with the ME franchise and done with whatever you produce in the future. With the slip in storytelling quality in ME2 & 3 (not even taking into account the ending) and the poor effort that was DA2, I simply don't trust you as a developer anymore.

I will wait for an official announcment regarding the endings, but if it turns out this is true, I'm will not longer support the company in any way.

If true my relationship with Bioware is over. I will also discourage anyone from buying Bioware games as well.

Yes, wait till pax. The guy is only talking financially bout the cost of the ending for them to make plus he only speaks for EA Latin America. What he is saying is the same thing we have been told here in Canada and the USA other English speaking countries, so the news is not a big deal.

If this is true, No knew Ending.. Then that mean the two more Shepard's that I have from ME 1+2 will never see 3. Because..  After ME3, it killed all Replayability, I mean..

What's the point.. Where I have No Choice as in No mater Which of the 3 options I choose, Everyone & everything I care about Dies or is Doomed to die slowly..  I don't want clarification, on all tha bad things that happened to everyone & have it pointed out More to me how I'm here & My LI is Way over There.. (talk about twisting the knife.)

So if this is true.. Then this is going to be Bye bye Bioware & *sniff* bye bye Mass Effect "I Love You!" well it may soon be Loved you..

Please change the Ending.. You have the Power... BioWare.

The MassEffect Twitter states this concerning the EA rumor: "We have no new information regarding that concern. Until we make an official announcement, everything is just speculation."

LOTS OF SPECULATION FOR EVERYONE.

Mmmmm. I find it a little odd this kind of news would come from EA Latin America and not EA Canada/America, and that he said we'll hear more in two weeks (from April 2nd) when PAX is on Friday.

Look, I want the ending to change too. But the racism here in this thread is disgusting.

Thank God?

Or they are trying to make everyone calm down.

We need a mod in here.

I'll keep my hope up until PAX, though not as bright thanks to this post.

I've actually been debating with a friend of mine regarding the ending (we finished the game together and was equally disappointed). He hasn't touched Mass Effect or any Bioware game since, because he is still feeling completely bum'ed out by the ending. I've been replaying ME1+2 and started ME3, but I have to admit the thought of the ending is constantly in the back of the head while I play.
Currently our main debate is going on whether to avoid Bioware games all together. We both believe that Bioware will not correct the ending even though they should (I'm still hoping for more than clarification though), and we'll both avoid any Mass Effect gameplay from now on, if the ending isn't changed enough. The difference between us now is that he has clearly stated, that he'll never buy another Bioware, while I'm still hoping the same failure doesn't carry over to DA3.
If all they do if release a clarification, then I'm starting to think the grass looks greener with other companies, though I honestly can't find any other great story based single player games out there except for CD Project Red with Witcher 2, so here's hoping for a Witcher 3.

They are adding post ending dlc, but the people here want a RETCON of the endings, and bioware made it clear that they wont do that...

This thread isn't about the quality of the ending, though, it's discussing what is perceived to be Bioware's decision on this matter. I support it because I liked the ending and because of the horrible way the fans conducted themselves, and I'm talking about the majority of you.

So, you support the "bad endings" to "punish" the people who expressed their feelings?

You miss the part where I said I liked the ending?  I support the good ending because I like it and I support Bioware's decision to disregard tantrums because I don't like tantrums.  If you had all been constructive and reasonable I'd probably want you to get some kind of new ending just because I was impressed with the community.  This place is a cesspool, though.

EDIT: I had a msn convo in here of the newspaper translation.   I might do an official translation time given of the newspaper.  I see so much speculations of what it says and the name given for this new is not the correct one.

Just leave.

Just learn some manners?

Can't people like the endings here and NOT be treated like this?

The endings did make sense TO ME, even though I do want clarification on some things.

There is no bloody dogma that turns negative opinions on the endings into facts. People should remember that.
