EA says it's official: no DLC for new ending

Now I doubt I'll buy SW KOR, DA 3 or anything Bioware/EA related ever again unless it's used. Want to charge me for an 'online pass' for that used game? I won't even buy it period. Plenty of other good devs out there.
I still might finish out ME 3 with some more dlc but nothing like the level i bought with ME 2.

Anyone who's already subscribed to the newspaper but doesn't have an online account can make an account for free. If OP could do this and upload the PDF for us or take screenshots of the article, or something...

Again, sorry everyone, I didn't mean to stir up trouble. I just read that in the newspaper and thought some of you might care to know. I do hope you're right. It probably wouldn't be the first time a PR rep said something that wasn't entirely accurate.
I did find a link to the article but it's behind a subscription wall. In case anyone is interested, it's here:

In Spanish, obviously.
To even read the full article you have to sign up? What is this, I don't even.
It sounds exactly like PR bull pulled earlier. Not an actual confirmation, from the single sentence I could read, anyway.

If they fix the ending, then I'll be happy. If they fix the ending using IT, then I'll be happy and they may save some of their rep by saying it was all planned. If they offer "clarification" then I'll forget ME and walk.
Regardless of whichever, I'm done with BioWare. Some of you may like the idea of being involved in some grand interactive gaming experience; but I'd have much preferred a game that I can play and enjoy from beginning to end without waiting on some super secret something that they refuse to tell us about and say that we should just speculate and . . . who cares anymore.

And it would be Canada since both ea and bioware are Canadian companies.

There is an article in today's (2nd April) newspaper Reforma in Mexico about the ME3 ending controversy.
Daniel Gonzalez, director of marketing and public relations for EA Latin America, says that they will release no DLC with a different ending. There will be a DLC to better explain the details of the ending, but the ending will remain the same.
Regarding the future of the franchise, he declared that ME3 was the end of Shepard but not the end of the game, and promised that news about more DLC would be forthcoming in two weeks' time.
I don't think that leaves an awful lot of room for interpretation. For anyone who was hoping for a different ending and not a clarification of the dreadful current one, it doesn't look good.
I'm not sure I'd trust him, considering Myuzka already said this isn't the last we'll hear of Shepard.

This is old news. Bioware already stated that DLC isn't going to change the ending but be a DLC to "clarify" what the ending meant...... *cough* Indoctrination *cough*
By the Godess, i hope it is IT!!!!!

It would be so funny if they show some kind of PowerPoint presentation at PAX to clarify everything.
At least it would be free.....actually they'd probably find some way to charge us

And also screenshots and the PDF, since only subscribers can see it and I'm not going to put in my credit card information for a free three-day trial.

Damn, I miss the days when I could sing praise about their products. Bummer. The cycle will continue, another great game company will come along and HOPEFULLY someday one of them will break that cycle and THINK before selling themselves out to the devil (EA, Activision etc)

Honestly what Im expecting is they add back some of the star child dialogue that they originally cut out explaining the backstory and history of the reapers more, perhaps improved cutscenes and an explanation of what Joker is doing. Either way I expect the DLC to be built entirely on the canon that the original endings provided, oh well, its money out of their pocket when I dont but another 30-40 dollars of DLC from them like I did for 2.
That would indeed kill ME3. But I think they know that wouldn't quell the rage.
No, there will be a massive change - look at the quotes at the end of the angry joe vid on indoctrination.

The guy is giving corporate spin, and it's the same spin as was first applied by Ray two weeks ago. Wait and see what they talk about on Friday. Then judge.
