Of course, for an Indoc Theorist like myself... these comments leave the door open for a well crafted ending.

BioWare is NOT listening.
This
I have no intention of buying "clarificartion DLC" when I can just wait until IGN posts a video on youtube with a very complete walktrough and all the details.
It's more than obvious that Bioware are just listening to the paid-off "journalist" who gave perfect scores to ME3 and not the fans.
I hope to get more info about this on April 6.

Honestly what Im expecting is they add back some of the star child dialogue that they originally cut out explaining the backstory and history of the reapers more, perhaps improved cutscenes and an explanation of what Joker is doing. Either way I expect the DLC to be built entirely on the canon that the original endings provided, oh well, its money out of their pocket when I dont but another 30-40 dollars of DLC from them like I did for 2.
Yay!!! More exposition.....
Still don't understand why they have to stick with such a contrived ending.

I'd prefer you were wrong. Nothing could hurt Bioware more now than the revelation that they intentionally released an incomplete game.Smiley556 wrote...
I dont want to turn this into an indoctrination theory thread, but I do want to point out that if indoctrination is true this makes perfect sense, since the ending wouldnt need changing, only clarification. Just let the thought sink in a bit.

For the record. No one misunderstood the ending. We all get it. It's just bad.

I'll wait for Bioware themselves to say something, it's only a few days long.

But I wanted a happy ending
ME3 doesnt count, ME2 still counts, they are just chilling on the ship.
Asterisk comfirmed by me at least.

Or a comic, that would be fun.....anorling wrote...
Not that I actually believed that they ever was going to give in and change (or rather continue/add to) the endings. But how do they go about a "DLC to better explain the details of the ending" without actually changing anything. Is it going to be a non-interactive DLC? Just sit back and listen to a story and watch a pre-rendered movie?

Hey I never said it was a good thing. I only believe IT, and ive always advocated on this forum what a bad thing it is. I'm totally with you there. Just pointing out it would make sense. I'm quite sure that if the indoc theory is wrong and bioware doesnt change the ending that would hurt Bioware just as much, if not more.

We knew they weren't changing the ending. All that needs to be answered now is exactly what they will be adding. Will they just 'explain' what it meant and treat us like idiots? Or will they give us what we want and tell us what the impacts of our final choice are.

I still dont get it.

...and boom. ME3. Another re-boot, another new ship --- a new everything. I just want to know if this was ever really a branching series or 3 stand-alone games of which the 1st one is vehemently denied because of their switch to Multi-platform editions.

They say "If you didn't hear it from an official EA/BioWare/Mass Effect source, I would count it as rumors and speculation."

So when you buy the game you don't get the ending, you just play till the protagonist dies. Ending costs extra. Wonderful.
