Kotor got me interested, Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 got me hooked right in. DA:O made me not want to touch anything fantasy that Bioware made, DA2 apparently was so bug riddled I couldn't be bothered to check it out (good thing too, almost everyone agreed DA2 was some degree of bad). ME3 is...I'm not sure yet. I have hope for Bioware but I've noticed some extreme slips in quality that's usually brought on by EA trying to micromanage the crap out of flagship products.

We'll see how Bioware handles PAX and from there ME3 may or may not be the last Bioware product I purchase.

Became a fan with DA1 ^_^. Yes, I will still be a fan, but a much more cautious one. I'll double check their games through forums and reviews before even considering buying them. Also, I doubt I'll buy new ME DLC =/ Not only to make a statement but also because...well...I can't bring myself to do so atm T_T.

Still, Bioware has made amazing games in the past ^^ Those will always be cherished.

I have been a fan of Bioware since the earliest days. I am STILL a fan of Bioware, will continue to be, and that is even while I disagree with some of the things I have done.

I'm so sodding upset with the way things are going in the gaming community right now. Particularly here, because everything used to be nice, mature, constructive. Now it reads like the WoW forums. People making ridiculous statements, attacking anyone who so much as tries to express a positive or supportive opinion...it's seriously frustrating to feel that I am unable to post anything I think on a Bioware game without being labelled as a drone or mindless fanboy.

No I don't like the ending. Dragon Age 2 was not that bad a game and it eventually won me over a great deal - it simply felt it wasn't a sequel to DA:O. Have people forgotten how TERRIBLE the first story for Neverwinter Nights was?

These guys are human, they make mistakes. They are not cackling away in some boardroom thinking how they're going to **** you all over and take your monies.

I like their stuff, I accept they make mistakes, I disagree with some of the decisions they have made. I am still a fan. Being a fan of Bioware or anything does not mean being mindlessly slavish to their opinions and products. I just wish certain members of the community here would sodding grow up and start expressing their views in a constructive helpful manner instead of flailing around attacking anything that doesn't agree with THEIR opinion.

Since Jade Empire. If no new ending, then, well, it's been a good run, Bioware.

My first Bioware game was Jade empire, and it started my love for them.
I can't say that i'll NEVER buy a game from them again if they don't fix this mess, cuz who knows what'll happen in the future? However i can say that the odds of me buying their games after this are at this time non-existent, and it'll take something extreme to change that.

Huge fan since kotor. Ready and eager to forgive and blame EA.

If they don't make good on their promises for ME3, we're done. I just want what they advertised.

I wouldn't be out to boycott Bioware, but they sure have lost my confidence as a consumer.

Started with Baldurs Gate
Then Mass Effect 1 locked in that affection
Mass Effect 3 ending is currently doing a good job of trying to kill that affection and loyalty.
Not making an effort into making ending changes would make me a very unhappy customer.

Mass Effect (which I only first played in 2010). In fact, I was barely even into playing games before that. (I had the obligatory period as a youngster - think NES, SNES, and then PS1 was around the time I gave it up; but as an adult, it was ME1 that got me back into gaming). Irrespective of how this whole ME3 ending thing plays out, I have a special place in my heart for them, because I'd have never gone on to try (or even heard of) games like Deus Ex, Alpha Protocol blah blah blah had I not played ME1.

Been a consumer of Bioware games since Kotor and i still give Bioware the chance to fix their huge mistake and convince me that they still know what they're doing. If they don't.. then i'm done with their products and will look for other developers. Simple as that

I've been around since Baldur's Gate and have spent countless hours enjoying their games. I don't see that changing anytime soon. Sure, I did not like the ending but that did not stop me from appreciating the rest of the game. And I am very excited to hear more about the next Dragon Age game.

ive been a fan since kotor and have purchased most of their games since then. i loved almost everything about mass effect 3 including the ending. what bothers me is in the last two games they have made not including TOR there is not enough character development and dialogue. i really hope they step that up in the next coming titles because if anything will drive me away its that.

I'm not a Bioware fan. I'm a Mass Effect fan, Looking down the list of games Bioware have made I see mostly games I don't care about (anything D&D based) or games I really dislike (Anything Star Wars EU)

Mass Effect was different, It was a truly fantastic setting with some really good games. ME3 has nuked that setting and unless that is fixed I'm unlikely to buy anything from Bioware/EA again.

I started with BG1; I still have that 6 CD set somewhere. After that I bought virtually anything they made for PC (just not the Sonic game).

I didn't like DA2 much (the whole game was just... meh to me), I only played through it once and I didn't buy any DLC for it because I just wasn't interested in continuing it.

I also don't like ME3's ending, but I'll give them a chance to improve upon it.

Will I still be a fan, even if they don't change the ending? Difficult to say exactly; their characters are still interesting. What I do know is that I won't pre-order their games anymore, but will have to take a good, long look at them when they're released; possibly getting them only when they've dropped in price.

This is something I don't like to do! Bioware before DA2 was always an instant-purchase for me. I don't want to feel compelled to scrutinize their games for game-breaking elements!

I played Baldur's Gate 1 way back when, and KoTOR when it came out, but didn't really pay attention to the studio who made them. I became a Bioware fan when Mass Effect 1 came out, even though I had played (and enjoyed) BG and KoTOR before that. I loved ME1, and DA:O, ME2 was a great, but flawed game (not gonna get into that here, my opinion and all), then DA2 came and I was...disappointed. It wasn't a bad game. It had a decent story. But the technical and design issues ruined it for me. Wave spawns from the sky, or from a clearly covered cave roof? This makes sense how? And recycled areas. ME1 had them, yes, but on what were clearly side missions. DA2 took that to a new level. Every cave in the whole game used the same level, just different parts with different doors locked off. That's offensive. But, I figured it was rushed, but it was OK...then ME3. The entire game was pure awesome covered by win and filled with badass. Then the ending...

Bioware hasn't lost me as a customer, but they sure as hell have lost me as a day 1, CE-buying fan. Any Bioware game I get from here on out will be watched closely, and I'll read reviews before buying from here on out.

As for the second question, I dont know...I really don't, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it...

Got into it with the first two Baldur's Gate games, fell in love with NWN, played through Jade Empire, KOTOR, the Mass Effect and Dragon Age series, etc.

I still like the stuff they produce, Mass Effect 3 was awesome up until the very last few moments and I'll always remember it for the ride more than the destination, and DA2 was still a decent game to me.

So yeah, I'll probably still be into their stuff in the future.

I started with KotOR. Then I played Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect, Jade Empire and Dragon Age. I'm still a fan of BioWare and I love ME3 no matter what people say about it's endings. And yes, I will continue to play their games.

Started with Baldurs Gate and have bought pretty much every game they've released since then, I don't see any reason to stop buying their games in the future, I loved ME3.
