April 6 will be the date when Bioware will turn from "OMG, i need to preorder Collector's Edition of their new game, and that hoodie, and that statues, and buy unreleased sountracks etc. etc." to "meh, i'll check it out, maybe half a year after release" or maybe it won't be, they still have a way to turn it around.

edit: Was a fan since BG1, got all their games (and all DLCs), lot's of CEs, lots of merchandise.

ME1 and yes, at least to the extent that I've ever been a "fan" in the first place. I won't buy ANY game just because it's from a particular developer.

They died a little for me with DA2, and they've just finishing me with ME3...

Time to replay Good Old Games...

JPR out!

I played Baldur's Gate a bit but it never hooked me, NWN did though and I've bought and beaten every game they've released since, and plan to do the same in the future. Say what you will about Mass Effect 3, it presented hundreds of hours of the best game ever made, so how could I not feel that their next product, whatever it might be, would be likely worth my money?

Loyal Bioware fan since KOTOR. I bought everything - CE's, DLC's. I've got PC and 360 versions of ME series and DAO. I don't even like MMO's and I got the CE version of SWTOR, and still have my subscription. I preorder whenever I hear a new Bioware game is coming out.

If they don't fix it, well, I won't go so far as to say that I'll never buy another EA or Bioware game ever as long as I live. But they will have lost me as a fan. I'll treat their games the way I treat the games of every other game company. I'll look into it, check reviews, maybe wait till the cost goes down, if I bother getting it at all. And I'm going to be much more wary about jumping into any series they might make. I used to trust them implicitly. Now, they've blown that.

Baldurs Gate and Neverwinter Nights were my first encounters with BioWare and I loved both games.
I thought it couldn't get any better after I played KotOR, but then I tried ME and I was literally swept off my feet with how awesome that game was.

But no, I will not be making any purchases of any BioWare products if they don't fix the ending and I definitely won't be considered a fan of them. In fact, they've managed to turn me into their critic.

I started with KOTOR, I used to preorder now I will wait for bargain bin or raving user reviews. I still believe they have it in them to produce very good RPG games specific to their brand, I no longer believe that they will always invest the resources both in time and money to give form to these ambitions.

I started playing Bioware games with KotOR. I played all their games through ME2 before going back to play Baldur's Gate (not the best game, but still fun) and Neverwinter Nights, which I hated. Between DA2 and ME3's ending, let's just say I'm not a happy camper.

Started with BG1, bought every Bioware game after, had a great many memories from BG1, BG2, Throne of Bhaal, NWN+Hordes of the Underdark, KoToR 1, Jade Empire, DAO, ME1, ME2.

The rot began to show greatly with DA2, which showed signs of being rushed and lacked the polish and care I had come to expect from Bioware. I thought this was a one-off occurance and gave Bioware the benefit of the doubt and pre-ordered ME3 CE in August 2011.

After the ending of ME3, NEVER AGAIN! If the endings are not changed, I will take my money elsewhere.

I liked BG1, but preferred Planescape Torment.
KOTOR was pure win. However, despite their failings I liked KOTOR2 better.
It always seemed like Obsidian > Bioware

Until ME1

Maybe Obsidian will get the license to make a ME: Las Vegas

Became a Fan when BG1 released.

Will become a fan again once they fix the endings.

And I am one of those weirdos that loved DA2 and still like SW:TOR.

Became a Bioware fan with KotOR.

Suspended my status as Bioware fan with DA2.

Cancelled it with Spacekid.

To be fair, they allready died a bit for me with DA2. ME3 was pretty much their final chance to show they hadn't been corrupted by EA completely.

Their journey towards the Dark Side is now complete :(

I still sense good in them.... They just have to get past hiding behind artiistic integrity, Stop being ****** with criticism and calling them attacks, and owning their mistakes......

Or an equivilent to Darth Vader throwing the emporor over the railing frying his life support and thus killing him... Okay BioWares dead...

I was with them through the mass effect series, and DA:O. I didn't even get DA2.

With that said, if they don't fix it I will play MP till it wears out, then leave and never return. I think there are companies out there who care about their fans. I think these other companies listen. They write good stories filled with fun that I get to be a part of - much like ME1 and 2.

Somewhere in there Bioware got too big. They forgot where the income is generated. They also forgot what it means to give players choices. I could have had a decent ending / outcome with little effort on their part that would not have been outisde of the bounds of how the story was proceeding.

I have no idea why the leadership is so depressed. Who in the hell writes such depressing stuff - and what bunch of execs thought that it was ok to roll with hopeless soulless downtrodden material. Everything is centered around futility in this game, instead of what actually makes the world go around. They write a story where the Axis beats the Allies. Its like they forgot why our ship is even called the Normandy.

So yes, if it is not fixed, I am done with them. I think that as far as the current ending goes - they have proven how much they have lost touch. They no longer care - none of it means anything to them but for money. They just forgot where the money comes from - along with how to write.

The first Bioware game I played was Neverwinter Nights. Am I a fan?..Well, I'm a fan of some of their games and I'm a fan of their social network BSN, because I made a lot friends here :D. But my first love was and still is Bethesda...Sorry, Bioware...I just can't let go of my old love ^_^

I'm still not fond of the Mass Effect 3 endings ( I do love ME 3 without the endings though), but that doesn't mean I will stop playing their games forever. If it's a good game and my taste, I will try it and if not I don't. Pretty simple, isn't it ;)

I've been fan of their games since Baldur's Gate. I will probably pre-order DA3 if its more like DAO than DA2. I dont hate their products because of ME3's ending.. yes i think its bad and kind of ruins replay value of first two games... i'm pretty sure that they have already noticed this problem and going to fix it for the fans. I dont want to believe that their BIG plan was to destroy whole serie in last 10 minutes. I guess that would be epic accoplishment for anyone..but it would probably haunt BioWare as long as they make games.

But yeah its just one game so i will give them a chance or two.

Their first game I played was NWN, but became a loyal customer after KotOR (still prefer KotOR2 though).

Now I feel like a fool for investing so much time and money on the Mass Effect universe... we'll see after PAX how and if my interest in Bioware will be restored.

I liked DA2 though, so I don't discard the idea of buying DA3 even if the ending won't be addressed. Probably won't preorder/buy the CE, unless it's clear that the game is really good.

I'll keep being a fan of the great games they've created in the past. Nothing can take away the greatness of those games.
But I won't buy any ME3 DLC that is for sure.
And as for future new games. Well we'll see. All I can say is that ME3 was my last pre-order at least.

If ME3 ending will not be fixed, then I'll not be able to remain BioWare fan. No matter what they will promise to make in the next games. I'll just stop buy anything from EA and BioWare.

Baldur's Gate and Never Winter Nights were my first BioWare games and I've loved just about everything they have done since. I skipped DA 2 because I read too many negative user reviews and didn't want my experience of DA O ruined. The end of ME 3 is a huge dissapointment for me but it just shows that BioWare has slipped a bit since they joined with EA. It didn't show as much in DA O or ME 2 as it has in DA 2 and ME 3 I will say, but if this is a sign of what is to come, I will hesitate investing so much time and money into a future series they might do.

Mass Effect 3 is BioWare's third strike for me. This is a very sad thing for me to say; one of their titles, KOTOR, remains my number two gaming experience of all time. I enjoyed Jade Empire, Dragon Age Origins, and the first two Mass Effect titles. But after releasing, in rapid succession, the abortive Dragon Age 2, the lackluster The Old Republic (what are they doing making an MMO?), and the massive (no pun intended) disappointment that is Mass Effect 3, well, I don't think that it's going to be worth spending any more of my money on their titles in the future. I actually regret spending money on Mass Effect 3, and I don't make a habit of making purchases from companies whose products cause me regret.

I fully expect that BioWare will do nothing to correct the ending of Mass Effect 3 and that my disappointment will remain unchanged... and as such, I'll no longer be a consumer of theirs.  I blame EA for this almost entirely, but that doesn't change the fact that the products aren't worth my time or money.

Around KOTOR time I think. I had played Baldurs Gate 1 & 2 and Nevervinter Nights but I didnt like much the way it felt like I was playing the d20 engine instead of the game. Also the seemingly arbitrary limitations of the ruleset didnt feel like right for a computer game (like the forced resting to recharge spells etc.). In Kotor they got it right and it was easy to follow the story even with the base engine being the traditional D20.

Ill buy more games in the future if they seem to be something I am interested in, no matter who makes or publishes them. Also if Mass Effect becomes one of those yearly series, like ME2013, ME2014... I doubt I will be buying them even if they were Bioware games.
