When did you become a Bioware fan and will you continue to be one if Bioware does not change the ending?

BG1 for me, unless you count Planescape torment...

As to buying future games...Most likely. Bioware do something which no other company do at the moment, make engaging characters and storylines. Which is why I don't rave about Bethessda. And the Witcher 2, with its over the top profanity (and I am no prude), annoyed me so much, I did not finish the first chapter.

Even though the ending sucked, and DA2 with repeated dungeons really annoyed me, until they lose more of their narrative skill (which is still their), I will buy the games.

Truth be told, all of the problems of bioware of late are directly because of EA, and their too tight production schedules. That is because bioware used to owned and operated by gamers, not corporate shills.

What good is narrative skill if you destroy the narrative in the last 5 minutes?

This is not personal at all. I like Bioware and I like Bioware games.

But this mess with the ME3 endings, and just how monumentally terrible they are, has given me pause. No, I won't just throw down the cash for a pre-order as I've doen all in the past (I was wary on DA2 as well). From now on, I'm getting fan feedback. If they all say the ending of their next game sucks, well, I'll give my money to another game instead.

Discovered KOTOR by accident. Was burned by KOTOR 2. Jade Empire made up for it, then almost saw ME1 coming as something that just needed to happen if Bioware wanted to do more sci fi but not Star Wars. Loved DA:O. Liked ME2 just fine, though it was inferior to ME1. Hated DA2, and loved ME3 until the ending.

around 2008-2009 I became a fan. I saw friends playing KOTOR for years but I never had a Xbox so I couldn't play it. I enjoyed watching them play it. I bought Mass Effect 1 in 2008 on PC, I was furious when I arrived home and found my PC couldn't run it properly. A few weeks later, I finally found KOTOR for PC and bought it, I loved the game. Never finished it because my PC died. Then I bought DAO for my PS3 and I loved it to death. This is when I became a full fledged fan.
