Lately when starting up Mass Effect 3, I have had issues with connecting to the EA servers, which I believe might have something to do with Origin, but oh well. Normally this wouldn't annoy me, cause my main use for Mass Effect 3 is the single player campaign... howerver this is impossible if I recieve a failure to connect to the servers. I can not start my game due to the DLC not being able to authorize. WTF?!?! The DLC is on my hardrive, all downloaded, and installed to the main game. Shouldn't the DLC only have to authorized once?! Like, why does it that everytime I log into this game, I have to wait a minute or more, and thats only if I manage to connect to the damn servers, to play a this game.

I would like to see this issue fixed, which is pretty much what I am getting at. Only have to authorize the DLC ONCE. Not ten million times. To me, it is a waste of time, irritaiting and makes no sense.

I hope Bioware actually listens to their loyal fans...

This. Can't start up any saves right now cause I can't connect to EA online.

The EA servers do seem incredibly haphazard. My friend gets her DLC deauthorised all the time. Restarting Origin sometimes helps, apparently, but it's still a total pain.

Had the same problem. Tried making Origin go offline mode, the only thing it did was cut me off from multiplayer. It still checks with EA servers about DLC.

Even if I dont have problem connecting to the servers, getting the authorization/connecting thing every bleeding single time I start up the game is annoying.

Ok, this is my issue as well - I can't play ME offline. And the EA server is always jumpy so every now and then, it can't validate my DLCs.

Does anyone know if we can just play off the actual discs that we bought? Every time I load the disc into the drive, the "autoplay" tries to re-install the game.

Same problem here. My internet didn't work for a couple days and I couldn't play SP at all. The game just kept complaining about "not being able to authorize DLC From the Ashes" due to no connection to EA servers. O_o

This is just so... argh. :(

I don't have problems with connection, but I always have to wait for the authorization of the DLC. It's getting annoying, and I fear that I can't play the game if I lost the connection for any motive (ISP or EA issues).

You have to actually turn off your computer's internet connection. So if you have an ethernet cable, unplug that or if you are on wifi, turn off your computer's wifi adaptor. It's terrible that you have to do this every time EA servers go down, when we PAID for the content. It's this kind of thing that makes people turn to piracy.
