Can we get some sort of communication in relation to the whole PS3 issue of being able to participate?
Thanks.

Sony won't allow them for some reason.
This is why ps3 can't have nice thingsbrummbrumm wrote...
hmmm..maybe sony should ask those guys who hacked their network several months ago for advice?
Your asking them for answers on something that's not really in their control. They have stated thy would love to include ps3 in the events but due to issues with Sony they can't. Why don't you understand about that?Ew_Tux wrote...
You know what, why bother.
When people complain about a game they paid good money for you get stupid responses.
When you ask for a simple answer from Bioware in a nice way, you get stupid answers.
Well done folks, this is exactly why buggy / unfinished games are released, they get away with it.

Question that I honestly don't know the answer to.
Are there any games currently on PSN that allow for events that track specific data tied to individual accounts?
The allegation is that either the tech specs or privacy policies prohibit limited time info along the lines of "Bob killed 3 Brutes, but has not completed an extraction on silver or better with reapers."
Is there a counterexample?
I specify limited time, because perhaps, if the issue is privacy, a list in advance of information gets ok'd and approved along with certification of the game itself (such as the N7 totals), but for the weekly events there wasn't a list of specifics far enough in advance or something.
umm this has nothing to do with being a "fanboy" or bashing Sony people it's just the truth that Sony is having difficulties with these so called events. Why must everything seem like Sony bashing? It's not a contest of which distributor is better its just facts.Distilled Poison wrote...
I made this same thread asking about Raptor a week and a half in advance. I even went out of my way in the OP to point out I didn't care who was at fault, I just wanted to know if I should hold off on promoting.
I was immediately accused of being a Bioware bashing Sony fanboy.
I'm sorry, Ew, but I can't be part of any discussions about the PS3 exclusion issue any more. I literally said "IDGAF about Sony" and they continued to call me a Sony fanboy. I can not deal with that stupidity again.

Yes, look at both BF3 and MW2/3 for example, or even Uncharted 2 / 3 which all run events and collect full data on user level.

I do not have direct experience with those games, and have been unable to google up any multiplayer event info. Can you be more specific about what their events have involved?
