Most of the IT supporters I've heard from say that Shepard never actually made it to the Citadel, that part was just a dream and you were on Earth under some pile of rubble.

Yea, but you could also say the entire game never happened, and use the same story, starting with the attack on earth where shep was knocked out . Thats when he/she started seeing the rug rat that is a heavy part of the IT supporters "proof".

I'm tryin to figure out how the people who didnt get away from the Citadel before the arms close "bad times" disproves IT. Can someone explain this to me?

I think the implication is that the arms never closed via. the indoctrination theory, the Citadel never blew, so no one would die. Thus because it DID blow it can't be indoctrination theory.

I don't think there is any truth about the indoc theory, but honestly, that disprooves nothing. The citadel could still be massacred by Reaperes and the keepers even if Shep is being indoctrinated.

If I was writing IT I see no reason the arms arent closed. They were closed when you arrive at Earth, before being hit with Harbingers beam and the whole IT thing takes place, Not to mention the "bad times" at the Citadel could just be Repear forces gathering the remaining people still aboard the Citadel for harvesting. This is why the beam is even there anyways, to get people to the Citadel for harvesting so it isnt a real stretch.

Saying that this disproves IT is grasping for straws more than the IT people are.

Right, Shepard never made it to the Citadel. So?

Seriously though Kelly can:

Be liquified.
Be shot in the head.
Commits suicide if you yell at her.
Dies when the arms close.
Dies when the Citadel crashes.

Who else can die that many times?

I just don't see the point of it. How was creating the Citadel Defense impact anything if no matter what everyone was going to die? I mean, why do we get them as War Assets for the final battle if they are already dead by the time the final assault launches?

Thinking of it just makes me angry. I cannot fathom how one company can create a moment like Mordin's death and the end of the genophage, and the ending of the entire series that is so dry and emotionless. It's beyond me.

Oh for godsake. Bioware could come out and say the indoc theory is completely false, and most of you would still think they're "tricking" us and setting us up for an amazing DLC.

The Citadel didn't die in the indoc theory, because Shepard never makes it to the Citadel. You've got to take into account that the person asking the question was asking in relation to the Citadel blowing up. If Mac answered the question regarding the Citadel blowing up, then it's pretty much confirmed that this silly little theoy is a crock.

Kelly commits suicide? When do you have the opportunity to yell at her?

Bioware should implement Twitter in ME4, so that all questions from the game would be answered there.

Why bother with cutscenes, dialogues etc. Better to write it on Twitter! Saves money, people get the answer anyway - everyone is pleased!

Or you can tell her to change her identity, she lives, and escapes the Citadel before the arms close. Everyone is assuming everyone important on the Citadel didnt make out before the arms closed. Why not assume most of the important people actually made it out?

I think it's after the coup. She tells you that she was reporting to TIM and you can forgive her or get mad at her. If you get mad at her you get a suicide email apparently.

.

IMO it doesn't fit Kelly's character for her to flee when people need help. That's why I assume she died when the arms close.

In my head-canon land Kelly escaped with Aria from the citadel, but it's only a dream anyway so it doesn't matter...

Really? She commits suicide if you yell at her? That's just messed!Posted Image

Well she has some issues from being near processed and being yelled at pushes her over the edge.

Everyone was dead? Who was driving all the cars and keeping the lights on that we saw on the magic platform? I always got the impression that the lights we see from space are usually buildings like we'd see flying above a big city?

I thought that was just debris, not actual cars.
That or husks are driving them :)

Most became Reaper Protein drinks. They said some escaped on a twitter feed, like that helps any but hey.. seems they set a dangerous precedent by including RL social media as part of a Sci Fi game killing off in game chars and the what not.[/quote

That is what we get when they try to be "clever" and "artistic"
