This is one of many questions, I would like to see answered officially in the game, when/if we get an "ending DLC/Patch". Don't want to read twitter news to get the open questions answered.

Seriously though Kelly can:

Be liquified.
Be shot in the head.
Commits suicide if you yell at her.
Dies when the arms close.
Dies when the Citadel crashes.

Who else can die that many times?

Kenny!!!

Coincidence? I think not.

Bailey is Tigh. He's fine in my book.

TOO BAD HE'S DEAD

Since tigh is synthetic it's pretty much a lose-lose scenario for poor Bailey. I imagine his last wwords were "ohh great, not space magic again..."

It's in the fraking ship!

I thought the way they handled the citadel was strange.

I'm hoping the DLC will explain more about how the IT works (if it is indeed that) I have said pretty often on the boards that if IT did take place than that doesn't mean other scenes we saw didn't happen. They just may have happened differently or in a different order. So it's entirely possible for things to be happening on the Citadel and have Shep think he's there even though he's covered in rubble back in London. We'll see!

Mac walters answered this on Twitter. He said that a bunch of people managed to evacuate as the Reapers came, but anyone who was left onboard died.

Source please.

So the Citadel did blow up? So the indoctrination stuff isn't true?

And in any case, Omega isn't likely to be as busy or attractive in a non-relay universe.

Would Aria bother for pride alone?

Hmm let's see... Omega's a mined out asteroid, and the three planets in the system are a brown dwarf, a frozen rock, and a gas giant.  Once the relays are destroyed I think it's a safe bet that everyone on Omega's going to starve to death.  Probably the vorcha will last the longest as they'll eat everyone else.

With 2 mass relays in the system, i think it`s safe to say there is no omega to go back to, not even a solar system

When you have to explain the ending on twitter... for Pete's sake, something is very wrong...

Oh that's great. So it wasn't a dream after all.

How does this disprove IT?

Right,

No one said that the Citadel being over earth was a dream.  That actually happened in "reality". The "dream" STARTS after Shep gets laser beamed by Harby (if you believe the theory at all).

No, see, one explodes positive and the other explodes negative and they cancel each other out!  Problem solved.

Yet another example of information that should have been in the damned game itself, not revealed on some guy's twitter page (regardless of whether or not said guy is a developer, producer, writer or director who worked on the game).

yup. Some cool characters on the citadel that we've spent 2 games or so talking to/working with and helping. All we get is someone on twitter saying "some got out the rest died" so we still don't know.

Sometimes I look at the ending and think, it's so bad that Indoc theory HAS to be right. It just doesn't make sense that they could/would intentionally botch the ending this badly.

Interesting. So Mac's tweet supports my theory that the end was real and was not indoctrination. This simultaneously makes me feel good and bad all at once.

I just assumed that not everyone evacuated the Citadel in time and that there would naturally be deaths.

I couldn't help but wonder if the Reapers deliberately corralled beings to the citadel...

How so?

IT doesn't start kicking into full throttle until AFTER Shep gets hit by the laser.  The Citadel was moved into position well before that.

I would love to assume that.
Except for the part about all the docks being clogged with refugee ships making evacuation slow and hazardous.
Oh, and the fact that Reapers shoot down escaping ships and shuttles for fun.
Oh, and assuming some escaped they probably got stranded in some random system when the mass relays exploded.

The real Citadel's arms still closed "IRL." That happens before Shepard gets hit with the beam. No need to get snippy.

Don't you just love how all the SPECULATION just ends up with everyone in the galaxy being completely screwed? I know I do, especially when it renders all my work across three games non-existent.

So...

Shepard dies.

The crew gets stranded on Gilligan's planet.

Galactic civilization enters a new dark age, with millions of people who are going to die due to being cut off from resources.

Most people on the Citadel died.

Gee... How uplifting Bioware. <_<
