I wouldn't mind playing some of the human classes alittle more if they didn't look so boring.  At least give us premade faces or allow us to create some of our own!

I happen to like the soldier helmets. Though I wish the visors looked a little more... glassy. However, I hate the Adept helmet.

As do I. GimpShepard has a private army, it seems. Still, human adept is a pretty good class, even if it requires some risk-taking in Silver/Gold

Give helmets to non-human races, I support your cause, we need to have helmets for all.

It'd be nice to have the option of helmet or no helmet. For that matter it'd be nice to be able to pick your own armor pieces. Not sure why they didn't implement that into the multiplayer. Customizable armor pieces with special stats like in SP would be 10,000 times better than the stupid character training cards.

I suggested the same thing, helmet and no helmet option, but for some reason I was almost lynched, lol.

That would result in more lag. EA's servers are barely holding on in event weekends.

It could be a local-only vanity option, this way it wouldn't lag the servers.

Lol, no that's not how it works.

That being said, memory limitations.

^ Neither of the two above posts are true. (EDIT: Ninja'd)
It would be a few MBs of data that would be downloaded to everyone for local access.

They should offer a whole series of rare, diverse unlockable headgear to stimulate pack purchases.

Have you not leaned the lesson from the old republic trailer? WEAR A HELMET OR YOUR FACE WILL BE SCORTCHED!

Custom(cosmetic) helmets/armor would be awesome. Even if I do want custom faces for MP, I can see why it isnt a good idea.. unless.. they are only displayed in the lobby.

I would MUCH rather see helmets for the rest of the races rather than faces for the humans.
I mean seriously, the turtian helmet that blue suns wore for Mass Effect 2..... were frickin' awesome.

Game developer ushered premade faces would suck hard. Helmets are better.

But, face customization would be ok I guess.

Considering we're talking about assets that are already present on the local copy for the single player, it would only take a few bytes to send once upon synchronizing and finalizing the lobby - similarly how they already send user-specific configuration with the appaerance options.

If custom faces would be allowed, that's either just sending the facegen-code which is about 28 bytes, or if they brute-force it, the complete headmorph is 32KB.
