I'm just curious how many others out there never even came to the BW forums before experiencing the ending the ME 3? I know for me personally this was the main reason I started lurking here.

Well, this is actually strange phenomenon currently on BSN, there are tons of new name users posting, but also many of old BSN posters (some of them well-known in community) vanished from these boards since the release of ME3. I really don't know what to make of it, but I'm pretty sure it's all tied to ME3 endings and previous expectations. I don't fall into group you're asking about, but I deemed important to say this about general change of BSN ME posters.

Yeah the **** ending drove me here to try and find someone who agreed. Surprisingly I found thousands who agree

I didn't use it much before ME3's endings. Maybe one or two posts.

You can tell who's had their hopes for the series shattered by looking at the game registration icons--the ones with only Mass Effect 3 registered so they could post here...

Same here. Been reading for a while but started posting after the ME3 endning as a sort of therapy.

The ending compelled me to look for what I did wrong... Unfortunately I was not the problem :(

I read the forums and posted here and there a little before ME3 released.
Before that I was just a reader.
I posted more activaly once the game came out because I actually have things to talk about that hasn't (or is at least is now) being talked about.

Great sadness, I had nothing to do with the forums before, I never saw a point.

I used to post a bit on the Garrus fan thread before ME3 came out, but stopped coming here when ME3 was released (didn't want any spoilers).

I came back after I finished the game and posted much more frequently. Yeah, the ending and my nerdrage brought me back... At least I'm not alone.

Me. Actually had to register and wait 24 hrs to post after "finishing" the game. Never before in any social network.

I came here, and to the old forum to read some news, or check for solutions and bugfixes, but almost never posted.

The ME3 endings moved me to be more active, that is for sure... And I still miss the old forums

Regustered ME2 after ME3 by entering UPC. Thought it helped my case to BW.

I used to be a member, then back between ME1 & 2 when all the Lover Interest wars started I left. It just got to ridiculous. People aren't content to just let people have differering opinions. They feel the need to troll others, flame, etc. People aren't content to back up what they say with fact. They just want to say "your stupid", etc. I swore I would never come back.

Well never say never. After all this time, here I am with a new account. I finished a game that I thought was the ending to one of the greatest gaming trilogies ever and thought I'd done something wrong or had missed something. My paragon maleShep couldn't finish the game at all. My paragade femShep, tried all the choices and well, it was just to weird to get another game at the end of my Space Opera. So here I am. Sadly, somethings have never changed. There are still people here who have to resort to name calling because they find it impossible to let other people have a differeing opinion.

Me, too. Normally I just visited once in a while to check up on some threads (mostly those with pictures) to see what's new and even then I've never ever felt like posting. But the ending made me so depressed and confused I was hoping to find at least one other person who feels the same...

Quoted for Truth.  I was here back when I was getting DLC for ME 2.  Came back after the end of ME 3.  I'm just trying to keep it together until PAX.

Been away for some time, ME3 made me come back to check other peoples impression of the game, jumped the bandwagon. True story
