How many never used these forums before the ME 3 ending?

But now I'm more adamant to talk about what DLC I'd like to see, rather than ravaging about the ending.

Ah, so this is why the screwed up the game. They wanted more people to be active on BSN. It's all so clear now.

Well, this is actually strange phenomenon currently on BSN, there are tons of new name users posting, but also many of old BSN posters (some of them well-known in community) vanished from these boards since the release of ME3. I really don't know what to make of it, but I'm pretty sure it's all tied to ME3 endings and previous expectations. I don't fall into group you're asking about, but I deemed important to say this about general change of BSN ME posters.
Old school posters learned long ago that when you toss poopoo into a fan, its best to get out of the way.

When I finished the game I immediately checked the forums to see what I had done wrong to get this ending, I remember thinking omg what did I do...I think I broke the game.
Just to come to the realization that this was the ending, the only ending.

Yep. And it is a well known fact that social networks are the way to the future. They are laying the ground work for the next release in the Mass Effect Universe - Eden Prime: Farm Ville. Soon on BSN.
They need an active userbase when they launch that.

I don't get involved in gaming communities of any kind but I felt Bioware needed to hear how unsatisfying the ending was to me.
But then I got aggravated by the vague and frankly consdescending attitude of Bioware's official statements.
Apparently, if I read the tweets/statements/forums posts correctly, the problem is my perception/understanding rather than their execution.
Now I'm just waiting to see if they are going to maintain that patronizing attitude or demonstrate that they are willing to own a mistake.
At this point, I'm so disheartened by the whole thing that I don't even expect a rectification - just having them admit that maybe something went wrong would make me feel my engagement was not wholly wasted.
I'm just hoping I won't be talked down to and have the finale of a beloved series explained to me as if I were an inattentive schoolboy. Or, even worse, having to cheerfully put down money to have it explained to me.
I can readily forgive a mistake but I won't forget an insult.

I never actually finished Mass effect until Summer 2010 even though I first played it in Spring 2008.
Now I lurk for a fix.
