Same here.
But now I'm more adamant to talk about what DLC I'd like to see, rather than ravaging about the ending.

Ah, so this is why the screwed up the game. They wanted more people to be active on BSN. It's all so clear now.

Well, this is actually strange phenomenon currently on BSN, there are tons of new name users posting, but also many of old BSN posters (some of them well-known in community) vanished from these boards since the release of ME3. I really don't know what to make of it, but I'm pretty sure it's all tied to ME3 endings and previous expectations. I don't fall into group you're asking about, but I deemed important to say this about general change of BSN ME posters.

Old school posters learned long ago that when you toss poopoo into a fan, its best to get out of the way.

I was registered before but didn't not frequent them at all. Currently have stopped by a lot more often.

I only used the BSN once on my old account when I had a technical question, other than that I've been lurking sometimes to see news on DLC or the ME3 development.

When I finished the game I immediately checked the forums to see what I had done wrong to get this ending, I remember thinking omg what did I do...I think I broke the game.
Just to come to the realization that this was the ending, the only ending.

I had an account for nearly two years before I deleted it in December. Posted for quite a while, but thought I wouldn't need to after playing ME3. Just giving Bioware my feedback, and then I'm off.

Yep. And it is a well known fact that social networks are the way to the future. They are laying the ground work for the next release in the Mass Effect Universe - Eden Prime: Farm Ville. Soon on BSN.

They need an active userbase when they launch that. B)

I'm an old timer from ME2 days and used to post quite a bit, but I took a long break from the forums because I didnt want ME3 to be spoiled.

...now I kinda wish it would have been spoiled so I could have prepared...

I never came to the forums, never lurked here, even though I loved BW games. When I finished ME3 I Was compelled to come here to see if I was the only one pissed off about the ending. Glad to see I'm not.

Complete BSN virgin... only came here to communicate my utter bewilderment at the ME3 ending.

I don't get involved in gaming communities of any kind but I felt Bioware needed to hear how unsatisfying the ending was to me.

But then I got aggravated by the vague and frankly consdescending attitude of Bioware's official statements.

Apparently, if I read the tweets/statements/forums posts correctly, the problem is my perception/understanding rather than their execution.

Now I'm just waiting to see if they are going to maintain that patronizing attitude or demonstrate that they are willing to own a mistake.

At this point, I'm so disheartened by the whole thing that I don't even expect a rectification - just having them admit that maybe something went wrong would make me feel my engagement was not wholly wasted.

I'm just hoping I won't be talked down to and have the finale of a beloved series explained to me as if I were an inattentive schoolboy. Or, even worse, having to cheerfully put down money to have it explained to me.

I can readily forgive a mistake but I won't forget an insult.

I came here for theories on the origins and purpose of the Reapers after playing Mass effect 2.
I never actually finished Mass effect until Summer 2010 even though I first played it in Spring 2008.

Now I lurk for a fix.

I just popped up after the endings, I was looking for what other people thought about it, I thought, "Am I the only one that hates this?" There was a link to the big IT/hallucination thread the one that passed 1000 pages or something like that somewhere may have been google, my have been somewhere else I can't remember but that's what got me to join up and start posting..now I pop in quite often it seems.

I never had a reason to look through the forums before the ending. Now I am active to make my voice heard and tell BioWare what they are doing wrong so they can make it better in the future.

I signed up to the forums specifically to post about my annoyance at the ending. It was nice to grumble with people who felt the same way.

Lately I'm really liking some of the more positive and humorous fan reactions, artworks, cartoons and theories.

A lifelong lurker in desperate need of peer support and virtual hugs. Never posted here before but got the hang of it after deciding that blowing off steam at the gym just wasn't cutting it. Wonderful people around here, though :)

I lurked for a long time, but never signed up until the hurt built up for a week after finishing ME3, then I came to post to vent my frustration, which got buried in minutes from all the other people posting rants too.
