If you couldn't follow the narrative closely enough, or give the major themes due contemplation, then maybe you should just call it a day and leave.

The ending made sense. I get that you dislike it, but whining like a child is just rather sad. Good day.

The ending made sense? I'm sorry but in what kind of bizzaro universe do you live?

What kind of insane breed of logic is needed to make sense out of this ending?

MadRabbit999 wrote...

I knew threads like these would start popping up, I have been saying it since they announced the pax thing...

I
kept saying "guys, they said they will be trying to explain the endings
a little more, they never said they were going to change them", but
most people just ignored that, and read what they want to read.

The fact they want to clarify the ending in itself is bad, if an ending needs more story to be understandable it's not an ending.

Well clarify can mean add scenes too, you know? Parts that are currently missing to make more sense of it?

Also do not forget BW will NEVER give you the endings, becaue they want you to speculate.. so they wil never say "Yes IT is true, or IT is not true" they will jsut give you more clues to work with, this is how they said they wanted you to feel from the start, that is not goign to change now.

I am not trying to defend BW here, but peopel jsut have it in for them, even if they came and said "We will give you free money", peopel here would still moan and whine about them.

The ending made sense?  Are you ****ing high?

Some drugs do aid higher thinking. The guy that discovered the double helix nature of DNA did so while high on LSD.

It's unnecessary for me, being a genius, but perhaps you should play the ending again, while under the influence. You might be able to make more sense of it.

Hey if you can go ahead and counter all the points made about why the ending is full of holes and inconsistencies. Why it has characters acting out of character, why its full of plots hole. The poor writing. The nonsensical explainations. The teleporting crew members. Go ahead. Answer those questions for us.

If you can do that I want to hear it. I've been waiting for someone who liked the endings to do so. So far no one has lived up to the challenge.

Its hilarious how people are still saying the ending makes sense.  I also love how they give no reasoning whatsoever.

There have been numerous threads showing exactly why the ending didn't make any sense. Its not even opinion anymore at this point; its fact. Teleporting Anderson, teleporting squadmates, etc. You can't say "in my opinion, it makes sense that they somehow teleported to their respective locations" anymore than I can say "in my opinion, pigs can fly."

But of course the ending makes sense! For Twilight fans...

You can defend the "artistic integrity" of the endings, but you can't defend its absurdity. No Sir, you can't do that because it's impossible. In any given way.

Well, unless... using a metaphore, you are used to great 2h long sex with yer LI and a rubber hamster jumping from the lamp on your back every time afterwards. Even if there is and never was a lamp. That's how the endings fit.

Explain why Joker was leaving the sol system while shepard was still on Earth. Explain how your ground team made it onto the normandy. Explain why shepard was forced to shoot anderson. Explain...... list goes on and on.

Illusive Man was controlling Shepard. Did you not follow the conversation at all?

That's under the indoctrination theory. Try harder.

You'll have to tell me which parts of the ending you were unable to make sense of if you really wish for me to explain it to you.

blacquot, could you do us a favour and stop acting so condescending. It's great that you enjoyed the ending, it really is. I'm happy for you and I'm even a bit envious, but the fact that someone liked or disliked the ending says nothing about their intellect.

I know that there have been some people in the Retake movement saying rude and insulting things towards those who liked the endings and I sincerely disagree with that sentiment, but you're really not helping.

TL;DR: please stop being a douchcanoe.

No it isn't.

Illusive Man was controlling Shepard. You might remember the line "controlling me is a lot different to controlling a Reaper"... and the fact that he was pointing his gun at long-time friend and comrade, Admiral David Anderson.

Indoctrination theory amuses me, because Shepard actually was semi-indoctrinated by TIM during the events of the ending.

I don't think so. You'll need to be a little more specific.

I believe i have already cleared up the confusion about Shepard pointing his gun at Anderson.

How?  ME2 and ME3 went to some lengths to establish that Shepard was not implanted with a control device.

Was he also controlling Anderson?

Likely. In any case, this thread was meant to get me banned based on the news out of EA Latin America, then someone who was nice enough with common sense talked me out of it... at least until after PAX. This thread is now essentially useless, seeing as I'm going to wait a few days before potentially getting my account banned.

It was quite a big part of ME3. TIM was shown to have found some of the secrets to, and dabbled in, indoctrination.

I loved it.

It's my favourite BioWare game, and the first time they really wrote a good enough story to compliment their usually great univereses and characters.
