The troll accusations are getting more than a little trite. Those that have read the thread will notice that i've been called all sorts of names throughout, but have shown Hanar-like politeness.

I will be reporting anyone that calls me a troll from this point on. I've noticed that some of the staff that post here have called out posters for misusing the term to describe anyone they disagree with, and i view it as a form of abuse.

Just because you haven't used any sort of obscene language doesn't mean youve been polite in the least.....you're putting words in peoples mouths and assuming sh*t....plain and simple....

That's trolling

And you are a troll....period

No, trolling is, as i understand, the act of intentionally antagonising a web forum, often using fabricated views to do so.

I can quite assure you that i believe everything i have stated in this thread.

Haha need I say more? You just described yourself....I dont care if you believe yourself....you antagonising the entire.thread lol....
Frabricated views....well you're doing that to....fabricating what I actually said by saying what I was IMPLYING that i think I'm the "arbiter" declaring the ending bad based on my degree....because you obviously twisted that....

1. Shepard is still on the ground when that radio message goes out. It's quite likely that given they decided to fall back, everyone was, like, looking in the opposite direction. We know that Anderson was behind Shepard, so that is why no one saw them make it to the beam.

If only i could store my way of thinking in some kind of cipher and hand it out to the disgruntled Mass Effect fans.

I'll give you a few moments to redeem yourself, and answer the rest of the questions without aid, before coming back to help you.

blacquot: it's your condescending attitude that probably turns people off. Personally, I could care less if you liked the ending, some folks like chocolate ice cream, I hate it.

It might all boil down to if folks that enjoyed the ending believe deus ex machina is a reasonable story-telling device. Most of the time, most folks equate it to poor writing, but sometimes it works. I believe it doesn't work with Mass Effect.

Admitting that is the first step to knowing.

Do you accept my answer to the first question? If you lack the cognitive functionality to follow such simplistic logic, it's not worth me doling out more enlightenment.

He accepts that you do't have an answer to the other 9 or are trying to ass pull them as we speak, this thread accepts that you are a troll though, good work.

You do not appear to know the meaning of the word "verified" or "troll".

The first part of my post was a serious answer to one of his questions.

The second part was a little Mass Effect jokette. The implication being that if i could impart understanding of the ME3 ending into a prothean style device, i could end this whole sordid mess.

The third part was me giving him an opportunity to follow the logic i outlined in my answer, and apply it to the other questions in order to answer them himself. Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. I was giving him a fishing rod.

I can accept your first answer its logical but still effy seeing that with adv. scanning technology it should have been easy for Makos and other vehicles to pick up on friendly movement still in that area, but i must insist you should follow the site rules and tone off your insults. So please answer my other questions

For reference, I worked with a couple of people to make a list of plot holes we could find. If the ending makes sense then they should all be answerable with only a little speculation

http://social.biowar.../index/10054944

There are some that are nitpicking admitedly, and the list doesnt contain all plot holes that have been mentioned. However the majority of these points seemed to be agreed upon by a number of people as issues.

It's pretty sad that as often in the most vehement arguments, both sides suffer the same issue and make the same desperate claim to one another:

"Please please please look at it from my angle".

The endings are not bad just because they are bad, they're bad exactly because they make that sort of debate happen.

Then we can visit the technical reasons why people would not be satisfied by the way the thing was executed, but that's been done to death on this forum.

But it needs to be repeated that the entire thing about the series is that it had that ability to satisfy a wide audience coming at the Mass Effect series from different angles. Some liked the action. Some liked the personality-driven main protagonist. Some liked the depth and intricacy of the setting. Some liked the relationships and the semblance of meaning your choices and decisions used to have. Etc.

Simply put, some came at the games from an imaginative standpoint, other from an emotional standpoint, others yet from a dynamic standpoint, or from an egoic standpoint, and so on. Everybody was given something they could run with.

The third game alienates audience types to various extents. The ending caters to only a very specific portion of the audience.

Expecting the entire audience to drop all of their personal reasons for liking your product to instead embrace your "vision" is a major demonstration of hybris. It never worked, most likely never will, and anyone in their right mind should know that.

It's a point where people are supposed to agree to disagree and stop trying to beat a self-righteous view into one another. When two sides won't get to a common ground, it's not that someone is wrong and needs to be made right, it's that both are wrong.

In closing to this, say that I'm in denial if you will, but I can't see Bioware walking out that way. Not to say that they planned this as a mind**** (they sure as hell didn't see the backlash coming), but it's impossible that the way things end in the game is all that there is. Stay tuned for what's coming, and get out of your narrow-minded perspectives that "the ending is final and is bad" or "the ending is final and it's great" because there is more to come.

You have constantly insulted people and arrogantly asserted your 'superior intelligence' upon others.
The continued hypocriticism alone perfectly justifies the attachment of TROLL to your name.

Go ahead, report, it would add just a bit more hypocriticism and ill-thinking than what you have already shown!

Hey, man. I am an intelligent individual with bad grammar, the creativity to come up with the username 'blacqout' (see what I did? Yeah, it doesn't make sense, but **** you) and a blog where I wack it to anime girls drawn by men.

My grammar is actually perfect. And there is nothing in my blog about masturbating to anime girls.

Let me ask, did you like Dragon Age 2?

I loved it.

It's my favourite BioWare game, and the first time they really wrote a good enough story to compliment their usually great univereses and characters.

I get the impression this is supposed to be sarcastic. If a few disgruntled fans get together in order to produce a list of plot problems that need addressing in order to have such a list, either for Bioware to see or for use at times like this is a complete waste of time then thats your opinion.

If thats not sarcastic then my apologies , sometimes these things don't translate so well via text and theres plenty of trolls around on these forums.

Hmm, this is interesting.  If indeed this was the case, how is it that Hackett knew that Sheparad was indeed on the Citadel, in the spot he needed to be in, and whatever he had done had not worked "nothing is happening, it has to be on your end."?  Were the radio transmitters that Shepard and Anderson had open mic?  If so, then Hackett had to have heard the conversation leading up to the Illusive Man's demise.  If so, I would think that Hackett could have easily sent a couple of more of those retreating troops back to the beam as the threat of Harbinger was gone (evidence by his departure after his beam 'o death) don't you think?

Just curious.

Good grief, this has gone on long enough.

Blacqout was made as a troll in his first few replies of the topic and 9 pages later people are still biting.

In fact anyone who has spent more than a day on these forums should already know this since he does the same thing in every topic - insinuate (or in this case flat out state) that he is more intelligent than everybody else while refusing to actually engage in a real argument since he has no credible basis for his views.

Its textbook trolling, though he isn't the best of the pro ending trolls I've seen. Not that you have to be good to provoke BSN.

Blacqout your pesudo intellectual statements just make you look like a prat. Your antagonising people who are calling you on your bs comments. You like the ending great, good for you, the vast majority on this thread and on this forum don't. There are massive plot holes and our choices don't mean s**t not to mention it doesn't make any bloody sense why BW would kill off a majority of the cast, and stick the mother of all deus ex machina in. It's c***p and everyone knows it so please shut up and go away.
