What will you do if/when the announcement is a disaster?

If none of our complaints are heard, i think i'll abandon this account and also stop buying Bioware games.
If the announcement is some DLC that explains what endings we now have, i'll abandon this account to make Bioware notice. I'll stop buying their games, i'll stop spreading info to my friends, or lend them my Bioware games (even tho that is now impossible with 3) and stop discussing things that are then meaningless to talk about.

Anyone plan to do the same thing? I'd just love it ,if this announcement turns out to be a disaster, for the Bioware Mass Effect forums to just go completely dark, and for Bioware to really understand "Oops, we messed up bad".

In the end that would be the only way for Bioware to listen to us.

As i said in another post, PAX is the last line of defence for me. If they break the line there, ill wash my hands off of Bioware and EA, no more swtor, no more mass effect, nothing.

untill then, i hold the line.

I will stop playing and paying for Old Republic (maybe it's stupid, yes).
I will say to myself "It's just a computer game."

I'll just walk away from Mass Effect. I'll be sad, but if BioWare has decided it would rather spend resources on MP horde modes than on making games with compelling and complete stories they're not the company for me anymore.

I was planning to pick up SWTOR, but I won't if this isn't fixed. I'm quickly loosing my faith in Bioware to deliver a quality product anymore.

Nice! It really feels like gamers should take back their medium a little bit, try and fight back against these huge companies with angel investors, stock holders and CEO's that want as much money in the shortest amount of time possible. Their business models are destroying franchises and games as a medium as well. Art, which games "can" be, needs time to be perfected, and needs to be apprieciated and be discovered with time.

They need to give games more dev time, let devs be creative and playtest and evolve their game, and go back to the 90's in terms of: You pay us money, you get a full game. And then, AFTER feedback and mandatory patching, THEN they start making DLC.

But hey, in this climate it will never happen.

I will return that Normandy replica and artbook I bought. I will try to find a way to return ME3. I will stop playing ME and probably Bioware games.

With Diablo 3, The Secret World and Guild Wars 2 all coming out soon I really dont need to buy anything from BW for a while anyway. Depends on BW how long that while will be.

Bioware will never get any money from me again. Sadly EA will because of FIFA, but oh well.

I grab some alcohol, toast to friends long gone and move one to another developer/publisher that show potential.
Bioware is dead, all that is left is a brand EA uses the garner sales.

Ow, and they also should stick with current generation graphics to lower game budgets for the future, just a full HD resolution, some AA and maybe DX11, there's no need to double your budgets again for better graphics, just release less than the current gazillion games a year, and focus on some meaningful or fun or innovative games that really work. What the hell happened to PC multiplayer for example? Or map makers? Or mods? Or cheats? Or multiplayers with huge good communities that sticked with that game for years? Only valve...

Interesting question. I honestly have no idea. I am trying very hard not to build myself up (I was so hyped for ME3 before it launched) and trying to be somewhat neutral.
I will have to seriously re-assess things if PAX passes without some kind of concrete answers.

Sorry BW, but we never seem to talk anymore...

I will be unsurprised. Check in to IGN for a giggle as they describe it as the greatest thing in the world EVER.

Then I won't buy the DLC or pre-order DA3.
